Creno's Pizza — Restaurant in Etna Township

I didn't even want to give it a one star but it will not let me post with out at least marking 1 star I worked at the Creno's on state route 40 in Pataskla and it is the dirtiest pizza joint that I've ever worked at or been inside! The manger shouldn't be in the position that he's in (Michael). I tried Talking to him to just ask him when I would come in for my shift if he would need my help or ask him what he would like for me to do and he would be very rude and tell me that hes busy he couldn't listen to me right then, If you're gonna be a manager you've got to be able to multitask and definitely be able to listen to one of your employees while you're making a pizza or while you're making even a $500 order which is what this manager had the day that I walked in and I just asked him if he needed help while I tried to ask him but he didn't even let me get the words out of my mouth he told me to go around and get my car that he had to get this order done and that was all that was said and that order was for me to deliver but nobody told me that it was ready to go and I was in the back cleaning their disgusting nasty kitchen in the sink area. So when I walked up and asked the manager if there was a reason that I Wasn't delivering that $500 order and he told me he didn't care who delivered it it just needed to get out, So that's when I just told him politely that I was going to leave because I wasn't going to stand in that store and allow this man to talk down to me and yell at me the way that he did in front of every employee that worked there and that was on the clock that day which was several people and it's only my 3rd day I think there. So the next day when I text the manager and asked him if I even had a job and if I was still supposed to come in at 5 he told me know that he doesn't put up with attitude of any kind! And that's how he handled that situation but yet he still at that point didn't even know what I was trying to ask him when I clocked in nor did he care! But now I would not suggest anybody eat at this particular store. I've never seen a pizza be made and have up to a 1/2 inch around the outside of the pizza not have any sauce or any product whatsoever on it! I'll take Michael's Pizzeria in Jacksontown any day over Creno's but if I had to order a pizza from a large chain it would have to be ordered...

My family has been a longtime customer of Crenos in Etna. Never really had too many issues other tha Slow delivery time. Not a big deal typically. Recently with the rush of my husband working long hours we've ordered quite a bit more often. Tonight, 2/6/2019 my husband placed an order of a plain sub and two 2 liters. When asking the man on the phone if he an idea on a time frame for them to arrive, he responded with " as soon as it comes out of the oven." Not wanting to be rude he simply said he was asking for an idea that there was no reason to be rude. Being the wife I am, I called back in to speak with a manager. The same man answered with his name as Michael. I politely asked Michael if I could have a manager on the line. He said he was the manager, so I asked if another manager would be in tomorrow morning. He said he was the owner, so i mentioned the situation that just took place and how it was unkind and very rude to a customer. He continued with rude banter and was pretty defensive. I told him there was no need to respond this way that each time we have ordered we've been given a typical timeframes of 20-45, 45- 1 hr. So on and so on, again giving defensive excuses of how staff isnt supposed to give timeframes. I simply told him its understandable to not always make it directly within the time that is stated. Again with aggressive banter as his response, I then responded by telling him as an owner of a corporate storefront he should work on perfecting his customer service. Again he responded with aggression and sarcasm.

Very unsatisfactory service. Needless to say with our experiences and the other reviews I've read tonight, Crenos will most likely end up becoming less of a treat for our family and we will find another company that appreciates the customers that keep...

I'll start with the good. The crust and sauce is some of my favorite in town. Great doughy crust with that snap that I love and thr sauce has a little bit of sweetness that adds a really great flavor. Add to that he spicy pepperoni and its a great start to what could be a real standout in Pataskala.

The thing that just kills this place is the inconsistency in their service and product. 50% of the time to food is perfect and on time. The other 50% of the time the food is very much lacking in quality and late. Last month we placed a large order and the food arrived on time and was the best I've had in quite some time. Tonight, the food arrived 20 mins late (though I placed it 3+ hours early) and was, well, just bad. The pizza had very little cheese, the Cinnamon Bread came with no icing and the meatball Stromboli still had raw dough inside.

I want so much to be able to rely on this Crenos location for our pizza craving, but just can't. There are plenty of other competitors in the area that can not only provide a quality product for the same price, but can do it consistently. My piece of mind will win out every time.
