Beef 'O' Brady's — Restaurant in Eufaula

I really hate to say that our visit here was really just so-so. Not great, but not particularly bad. Had it not been for how much I paid, I probably wouldn't have really even said anything. The food wasn't bad at all, but I ordered a Reuben, which according to the menu is one of their signature items..I have never, ever eaten or heard of a Reuben being given on buttered white toast. It's just not a reuben without marble rye toast. But it wasn't too bad. It was heavily buttered, so the butter taste was a bit over-powering. There were also only 2 thin slices of corned beef. I usually get so much corned beef that I have to take some off at most restaurants. Our server wasn't rude, but her attitude was very off-putting. I'm not sure the right word to describe her demeanor, but it was not very warm and welcoming. It seems that we were her only table and we were left waiting for quite some time when the check came. For me and my two kids, who ordered kids meals, plus the tip, was almost $50. Had it been a lot cheaper, I wouldn't complain at all. The food was terrible. The bartender was the only staff that would even make eye contact with me when I came in trying to pick up my to go order. In the 20-30 minutes I waited for my order (that should have been ready before I arrived) it was clear she was the only person that cared about the customers. She tried her very best to make sure everyone in that restaurant was taken care of. Unfortunately that only goes so far when everything else is bad. My husband had grilled chicken that looked and tasted like it had been microwaved from raw. It was inedible. I had a pizza, it was barely warm when I got it out to the car. I understand being short staffed & would have been fine with the wait had our food not been so bad. This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. So...

The restaurant wasn't very busy when we got there for dinner, we were sat down pretty quickly but after that everyone moved in slow motion. The staff kept pointing at us as if they were arguing about who had to wait on us, finally the only bartender came by to get our drinks. Once we had finally received our food, my girlfriends meal was lukewarm (borderline cold), we didn't say anything because it probably would have taken just as long for them to fix the problem as it did for the food to come out.

Our waitress was really nice, she was probably the only great thing about the entire visit.
