Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Eunice

Popeyes is my favorite fast-food restaurant but this location is a disaster. I cannot tell you how many times I've emphasized "plain" when I order a sandwich and still get sauce and pickles. Tiny portions for fries, scrawny strips, and telling me my coupon was for 4.99 when it was for 3.99. Ask for Cajun Sparkle. Never get it. Once I got three itty bitty pieces that were supposed to be strips. They were just dry skin. No meat. I informed them of this. Nothing. That was months ago.

A couple of them always have this stagnant attitude like they were mad when they woke up. I'm never rude to them. I wait patiently in my car, letting them do their work. Why the attitude? All I expect is my meal (as it was ordered) and a friendly demeanor. It's not that hard. Does this look like it's 4.99? It expires in 2022. Until I hear from others that things have changed I'll just go to Wendys or even Wal-Mart for my strips and sandwiches

On another note, a friend of mine sent me a gift card and no one at this location knew how to use the gift card, claiming it wasn't valid. Contacted Popeyes regional management and the woman I spoke to claimed that she never heard of Popeyes having gift cards. Candace was her name. She was condescending. This location will serve you food that is spoiled and inedible and then corporate will give you the run-around until you simply give up any effort to be made whole. Simply put, I am out $30 because I received food that me and my family were unable to eat. The chicken tenders were rotten and the biscuits tasted as if some chemical had been sprayed on them. I disposed of the food and was ill the rest of the day. I attempted to resolve this issue by contacting Popeye's. Their "bot" couldn't resolve the problem so I was bounced around various agents via email who were zero help. Finally I got aggravated and simply filed a claim with my bank. Instead of doing the right thing, Popeye's denied the chargeback and I'm SOL.

I sincerely hope this location doesn't make anyone sick, but it's only a matter of time before this happens. And I hope they sue this location out of business. As for myself and my family, though I know it doesn't make them any difference, I will never spend another dime on this trash ever again.
