Mitchell’s - Central Service Grill — Restaurant in Eupora

I’m a truck driver and I had my wife with me we had a very long day getting to Eupora,MS. to deliver our load the next morning and all we wanted was a nutritious meal and believe me when I tell you it is very hard to find a good meal and somewhere to park your rig at the same time. Needless to say our prayers were answered when we found this amazing establishment,from the door we were treated like family but most importantly guests. The staff so respectful and kind the atmosphere of the restaurant was clean and had a rustic country feeling that we could just not get enough of and the fact that they kept playing songs from Lynard Skynard was a big plus. I have personally worked in restaurants and bars and I have taken many orders over the phone and accepted payment by credit or debit during call-in orders. I was refused 2 hamburger steak dinners with fries and a salad because they aren’t suppose to take payment for orders over the phone because it costs them money to do so. Now that was an asinine statement to make. That is 27$ for the meal without a tip that the restaurant just missed out on and I hope that the manager/owner reads this and can make the proper adjustments to their place of business. Normally this wouldn’t be a big deal considering I would just pick up myself but I had someone else who was picking it up. What a joke.

Delicious food, amazing people! The atmosphere is historic, yet inviting. The food was plentiful and well-priced. I was in Maben visiting in-laws… and everyone there said “don’t go to Traceway, go to Mitchell’s in Eupora!” Even the workers at the Subway.
