Very friendly service and atmosphere, great food, and excellent drinks. I've been spoiled with excellent food and drinks both at home and in my many travels. In spite of its home in the tiny town of Eureka - on "the loneliest road in the United States" - Urban Cowboy more than holds its own among the ranks of some of my favorite restaurants and bars in major markets like San Antonio, Dallas, and Chicago. If you like a Bloody Mary, Manny's is truly exceptional. I also highly recommend the margarita. These are NOT stereotypical well drinks over-poured with "spirits" that may or may not also ship from the source in barrels for use in octane booster. These ARE well executed, premium cocktails whose flavor and balance may result in the seemingly delayed rapid onset of intoxication... so I also strongly recommend eating (the burger with I believe Sonora or Chilaca chili peppers was great - another unexpected gem) and bringing a trustworthy designated driver or booking a room at the hotel conveniently located within...

Tasty burgers, sandwiches and even Mexican dishes is what you'll definitely find here but the real surprise or at least for me anyway was the outstanding Indian food they offer up as well. In fact, I almost missed it as the selections were listed in the bottom corner of the menu under Kitchen Favorites. That said, the Chicken Biryani I had with Garlic Naan was outstanding and better than some I've had in big cities! I was really happy the super friendly waitress asked how spicy I wanted it and when I said HOT, that's exactly what I got and loved it! I should note that my wife ordered a cheese burger with fries but was also offered tater tots, curly fries or even onion rings as a side and can tell you her food was excellent too. Really hard to imagine food and service this good in a town like Eureka and it's definitely a place I would recommend to anyone traveling along the Loneliest Hwy. I should note, there's no parking lot but plenty available on the street and if you're wanting a drink, the bartender doesn't get...

Stopped on way from Delta to Reno, even called first , walked in to the rudest hostess at the empty bar, lady in the sling, clearly angry customers were arriving, there were two parties eating in the back, front was empty . She slammed 2 of the small tables together for the 3 of us. And said it would an hour for food. At that point another group walked in, hostess about lost her mind, rude to them as well. Interesting is the male server came over. Super nice, took order. Food came out in promptly in 15 mins by another very nice man. All the while the angry sling lady was behind empty bar huffing and puffing , I had ordered 1 beer that really ticked her off so chose to not get another. Place would be much better if the first person customers saw was not rude and angry. Unfortunate for the the other gentleman staff that...

Good stop for a hearty, filling dinner in Eureka. We were greeted by a very friendly server, and promptly served some quite large, very juicy burgers! Fries were also huge, and delicious, only downside is the prices on some of the smaller appetizers seemed a bit high. We enjoyed a nice quiet dinner, watching the movie on TV, and chatting with our server about the merits of the various Lethal Weapon films, as well as trying to guess which one we were watching. If that's not the quintessential American experience, I don't know what is.

Traveling on Hwy 50 and stayed the night at the hotel next door. We decided to eat here since it was 17 degrees and we could quickly walk from the hotel. The patty melt was warm, not hot with the steak fries half cooked. My husband and I overheard a table near us complaining of similar issues. The service was okay, but they had to be reminded several times to bring refills, etc. Prices were high, but expected in such a remote location.
