Golden Buddha Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Evansville

Kids in the lobby area, I am guessing it's the employees as the employees would occasionally walk up to them and tell them to settle down before walking away again, kids walking around behind the counter, they had a hover board in the lobby area and trying to ride it around, kids were very loud and no supervision other than occasionally when the woman working the desk area came up to tell them to settle down. One kid didn't know how to ride the hover board and hit her head on the table and fell on the ground.

Very odd atmosphere coming from a place with such good reviews. Pictures attached.

Food was good, but was told it would be a 15-20 minute wait for takeout and ended up waiting 30 minutes after arriving at the 20 minute mark after calling in, so that was aggravating.

Update: we only got one of our two orders of crab Rangoon. Owner doesn't have any online presence, no menu available, no social media, no website that I can find. Needs more involvement in general.

5 🌟 is just not enough!!💕 We asked the owner if it was possible to have our Daughter's impromptu Wedding Reception at their restaurant with only 3 days to prepare! She happily took us under her wing. She said they could set up a Buffet for our guests. So we made our choices from the menu. I was so grateful they could help! When we all arrived you could have knocked me over a feather when all the food started being brought out. Every dish was So Beautiful & even more Delicious! Every thing was so Fresh & Well Prepared! I have been eating at Golden Buddha in Evansville for many years as I used to live in the area. I still go back when I am in the area as the food and atmosphere is excellent. I recently had pork with Chinese vegetables, egg drop soup, an egg roll, and crab rangoon. All of the food was hot and served quickly. The egg roll was not greasy, crab rangoon was the best I've had, soup had bits of egg and was served with crunchy noodle strips. The main dish was plentiful with lots of vegetables and pork.
