Sadly to say I was very dissatisfied with the sandwich. Sine it was in the area I went here. Large selection to choose from. The 6" Soprano sub was dry and short on meat compared to where I usually go. The sandwich was smaller as well as the bread not very fresh. I took a couple of bites and ended up going way across town to my regular spot. Paid a couple dollars less as well and got a bag of chips. See pic. Primos on the right my normal spot on the left.

Deli chain with a solid reputation Featuring Thumann's meats Large selection of hot and cold sandwiches and cold salads Pepsi beverage products and snacks Located in the Glen Roc Shopping Center in suburban Ewing Twp. close to I-295 and the Trenton Mercer Airport Surface parking lot with east access in and out Eat in and takeout available, friendly staff with quick service Comparable pricing to similar eateries in the area

I simply love PrimoHoagies and this location. The owner is super nice and this is the result of a sandwich that he personally made. He is an artist just look at the sandwich. The prosciutto is thinly cut and he did not hold back. Look at the prosciutto, the it’s filled to the edge of my sandwich. This is a veggie Diablo with prosciutto. Enjoy the peace.

I’ve enjoyed this location for about 4-5 years and used to eat there about once a week because I work very close by. I’ve been to many Primo locations and always enjoyed their food. I was meaning to write a review since the incident in July 2019 but have not gotten to it, was only reminded once again driving by.

I bought a hoagie to go as I always did. I noticed shortly after that my account balance was much less then it should be, I was charged for the hoagie $6.39 and an additional $100. I never cross out the tip portion on a receipt when signing and my surmise this was the case (though management and ownership stated it was a “card error”).

I called corporate and they said I needed to deal with the location directly, I spoke with the manager she said it for “some weird reason charged $100 extra”. Whatever, I just wanted my money, they said I couldn’t pick up the cash I needed it refunded on my card. I called a day or 2 later and but this time wanted to speak with the owner, not manager. He again went with the card error, whatever, but my issue was the whole nonchalant attitude of the incident. I don’t know about most people, but intending to buy a $6 hoagie and instead missing an additional $100 was a big deal to me, he simply stated it was an error and I should get it back in 5-7 business days and a disingenuous apology.

My issue was with the fact that this whole ordeal felt like ordering a sandwich, but with poor customer service, a simple transaction to get my missing money back and that was it. No credit for the sandwich I bought or anything in the future to rectify the issue, no thanks for being a loyal customer for years. At least a sincere apology would of been good, not a woops our bad, we’ll get you that money in 5-7 days, see ya later.

They make good food, on the fractional chance that an incident happens to you, don’t expect empathy. Have not eaten at this location since and...

The sandwich I had could only be described as heavenly!! I ordered the Suprimo and added the pepper shooters to it. I literally could not stop telling my family how much I loved the sandwich!!! First the bread, yummy fresh baked seeded bread. The freshly sliced super thin Prosciutto was perfect and tasted like the expensive de Parma kind! The fresh mozzarella was cut thick and was a great base for everything to sit on. The roasted red peppers tasted great too. The pepper shooters are little green peppers that are vinegary and stuffed with cheese and meat either prosciutto or salami. I will never be able to have another sandwich without thinking about this sandwich. I truly loved this sandwich and I think you will too!! Don't get lettuce or mayo on it! Keep it simple! You'll thank the...

Being a restaurant owner myself it’s automatic for me to look for important things when I walk into any food establishment. Cleanliness and the food walk hand in hand. This place has both.Yesterday was my second time eating at Primo Hoagie in Ewing NJ. I really don’t get around much since I’m always attending to something at my restaurant. But like I said I was there once before and it was worth a second trip. I met the owner Tim who was a delightful guy to chat with. I got a meatball parm hoagie which was delicious. It tasted like it was made from home. Today many Italian restaurants including pizza places cut corners and use frozen meatballs to their detriment. Primo Hoagie is about 15 minutes from my place and well worth the drive. Can’t recommend it...
