I literally just called to place a simple order for pick up. This kid/person whoever it was answers the phone and ask how am I going to pay. I told him I would be paying with my card. Mind you I'm using my speaker phone as I was driving. He then ask me to give him the card number. I said I would pay when I got there. He then says they need me to pay over the phone so there are no "issues". Not sure what he meant by that exactly as I have been ordering from there for about 3-4 years and never had an "issue" with anything. I told him it was never an issue before. I was driving and he was like well we prefer you to pay over the phone now. I again tell him i'm driving and won't be able to do that. All I hear is silence and I'm saying hello hello and then he hangs up on me. I call back and ask him what his name is and he's asking why? I say because you hung up me and you should have responded and clarified if everything was ok . He proceeds to have the AUDACITY to tell me that "well I know your not driving . " Wow...I then hold up the phone to the wind blowing as I'm driving and proceed to tell him his customer service is trash and I would be writing this negative review. I will never order form there again. He sounded young and ignorant with that trashy customer service. How dare you and I hope management can rectify this so it doesn't happen to other people. I can respect your rules but don't hang up on someone then proceed to tell them what they are and aren't doing. STRAIGHT TRASHY...

You came in and ask about shrimp tempura, I responded with we have app, entree, and roll, and you responded with how many shrimp comes in the app and I said two and 4-5 veggies, u responded with how about entree and I said 5 shrimp and 5 veggies, then with these exacted words you said “Can I get the shrimp appetizer” and I said yes it would be 8.53 dollars. U placed the order at 5:39 and u called 6.58 a hour later to said you got the wrong item in a nasty tone, and then I tried to explain how it went and u decide to cut me off and raising ur voice and even ur friend who’s I heard even agreed with me cuz you didn’t know what u won’t in person but when u called about the ordered being wrong u said u know what u want? Like how does that make sense? If you knew what u want then why didn’t u just ask me about the shrimp tempura roll instead of asking about app and entree? It makes no sense!!!! Read moreThe food here varies between decent and pretty good (3.5-4 stars), depending on what you order. Like many of the other reviews, I have also had issues with their "customer service" on previous occasions. I still get takeout fried rice/tempura on rare occasions because theirs is some of the better tasting in the area, but I used to order from them more often before I had a poor experience with one of their employees on the phone.
I've gone here long enough to know that might be more than one person. On the few occasions I've eaten in the restaurant, I haven't had any problems. If I found a place that had better food, I wouldn't come back, but the Ewing area is really lacking in good Chinese/Japanese...
