Well, they started out badly by giving me a wilted salad that actually had some dead leaves , slimy ones. Other pieces that were brown halfway down, the rust was starting to form. They made up for it with the veal Francese which was tangy with lemon and had a lot of fresh parsley. The side of rigatoni was large, and it had a sweet meat sauce that was very tasty. We also had a tasty appetizer of the riceballs that are fried and had a filling off sweet sausage and broca rabie. They were quite tasty. But the big disappointment was the pizza. The crust was nice and crispy. Plus, it had a decent amount of cheese.... The problem is that I hate sour sauce on my pizza. This has nothing in it to quell down the acid. It's not sweet. I expected it after the pasta sauce... to me, it ruined the whole thing. The place looks okay. But the floors is all scratched around the bar.The tile is uneven in the bathroom. It's decently clean, though, but there's no baby changing table. Another thing, which may be a game changer, for people, it's a BYOB.

The waitress was sweet, helpful in her suggestions and opinions when asked. The setting was relaxing, simple and elegant. The menu had some nice options. In order for it to be a GREAT pizza depends how well it tastes when you heat it the next day. This one past the test. The Italian Stromboli was actually one of the best I have had in a long time. The seasoning on top just made my mouth water. When we walked in there was a large group of ladies playing games. You can tell it's a family ran restaurant when one of the customers needs to stand at the kitchen door to say " HI " to her cousin. I'd like to know what other secrets this place has going on that they don't advertise.

My sister and I hosted our parents' surprise 50th anniversary party at Biscotto's, and everything was wonderful. Sal was super helpful prior to the party, responding to my questions and working with us to make sure the food and party was exactly what we wanted. Guests kept raving about the food at the party. It was perfect: red and white pizza, chicken cutlets, ziti and meatballs, even the salad was delicious. The service was wonderful too. All the employees were so friendly. Thank you for making my parents' party a night they will cherish and always remember!

Very disappointed to say the least with my visit to this establishment. I waited over an hour and a half for one tray of pizza and one order of wings, only to find out my pizza was placed on the wrong table. The waitress then brought us over the pizza after it sat on the other table, which mind you had other guests seated at it, for over 5 minutes. When I received the pizza, I was told by the waitress that I look angry. I said, yes I am a little mad, as other people who were seated after us received their food way before us. I also observed another party of unhappy guests who had ordered entrees. They received their food gradually over a 40 minute period. They were unhappy and I overheard them getting a deserved discount on their bill for waiting so long. I mentioned all of this to my waitress and MADE IT VERY CLEAR, that I was not upset with her. She proceeded to argue with me regarding my frustration and finally asked me if I was going to have the pizza or just leave. I responded with the latter. She then said that she doesn't need an argument, grabbed the pizza from the table, and stormed into the kitchen. I will NOT return here ever and will not recommend this restaurant to anyone who asks me about it.

Follow up to previous Review. To the Owner of Biscottos, I regret to inform you that you are most certainly wrong here. I ordered my food around 7pm last Friday and left at 8:30. My waitress more than likely forgot to put my order in, however I will never know that for sure. I would also like to follow up and say I visited a local competitor in Exeter immediately after leaving your restaurant and received a fresh, in house, made tray of their pizza, and an order of fries in approximately 25 minutes. I can assure you it's fresh made dough. I also drove to a local ice cream parlor after dinner. The reason I'm throwing this in there is because it was a round trip of 50 minutes, for dinner and dessert. I didn't even get my dinner at your restaurant in that time. It's also pretty sad that that you knew about my experience at your restaurant 10 minutes after I left, and more than likely saw my Google review was posted around 9:00pm that same night, and it still took you 1 whole week to come up with the petty response you left me on my review. I must say though, like you said, McDonald's would have definitely been the better option instead of dining in your restaurant. Have a good day and may you one day admit the customer was right and you were...

After making reservations for Friday evening at 5:30 with a wheelchair accommodation for my father we waited over 20 minutes just to get our drink order and never acknowledged. Every table in the restaurant was filled and there was one server and one assistant to get drinks. They were completely overwhelmed. We did not mind waiting over an hour just to receive our food, but had to repeatedly ask someone for a refill on a drink, and then after asking for our check, our server completely embarrassed our table, causing a scene and verbally attacking my daughter in front of everyone. Never in my life have I ever experienced anything like this!! After asking for a manager no one came out to help us. The only thing we wanted to do is take my father home. after being there over two hours. We were not even offered a box for our leftovers. Our server grabbed our Guest book with our money out of my mom‘s hand and walked away without even returning our change. This was the worst dining experience...
