Went to the Asian Cafe today to try their food for the first time! Pictured is taro boba tea, Thai boba tea, hibachi chicken (comes with yum yum sauce, rice, veggies, clear broth soup, side salad with ginger sauce, and noodles), drunken noodles (comes with onion, mushrooms, carrots, and cabbage in addition to the chicken and noodles), and two fortune cookies.
Food was a TEN/TEN. I will definitely be going back and so will my wife! Their drunken noodles were the best I ever had-not too spicy but the perfect amount of spice. Veggies were cooked perfectly-not too hard and not too soft. Everything else was delicious as well. We love that the hibachi comes with both rice and noodles. The yum yum sauce you can tell is homemade. Their ginger dressing for the salad is a little on the creamer side (which I personally like better). Chicken was cooked perfectly for both our meals- not over cooked or undercooked, it was just right. Portions are huge, which is a plus. The fortune cookies were a nice little surprise. Next time, we would like to try their Chinese food.
Our server was great, super kind and patient with how busy it was for their opening day. He stayed on top of everything and kept a calm demeanor.
Dining room is not open yet and it was very hot inside today. I think maybe their AC is not 100% set up yet. That is the only negative thing I can say about this place.
However, the food and service is a 10, so we will be back for take-out! Keep up the good work guys, you did awesome on...
Read moreWe enjoyed our meal at Asian Cafe. We had wonton soup and onion soup, both of which were very good. For an appetizer we had the Indian Pancake, with delicious house peanut sauce. For main dishes, we shared boneless spare ribs with fried rice, and the Thai specialty yellow curry with shrimp and white rice. The spare ribs were good, but the curry was our favorite! It had a good level of spice that we really enjoyed. There are a few tables where you can eat inside. We ordered at the counter, then they brought our food to our table. The workers were friendly. Most people were picking up for take out. We will...
Read moreYou Need To Know? Arrived around 6:30 on a Saturday & were able to seat ourselves. This seemed more like a take out restaurant as it was small inside & not many customers. They do not come to your table you have to order at the counter. We had the General Tso dinner, Big Soup Bowl with noodles & chicken, & the Red Thai Curry chicken. Food all had amazing flavors & came out quickly. We were all pleasantly surprised as this did not taste like all the other Asian restaurants around. The ingredients were fresh & had unique flavors. Highly recommended! Now...
