I used to love Januzzi’s in Exeter. But unfortunately, it went downhill within the last few months. First off, it’s difficult to find a parking spot. Half the time the dining room is practically empty, yet the parking lot is full. Which is ridiculous. As far as the food : The round pizza is usually over baked/burnt and entirely too greasy. When I ordered the Sicilian pizza, it tasted like cleaning chemicals. They use American cheese for their Italian hoagies, which is weird. Normally, people use Provolone for Italian hoagies. Not American cheese. Same thing with the antipasta. They use American cheese instead of Provolone. Why?? Probably because it’s cheaper, which is sad. The past few times I had the wings, they were all fat. They advertise 1/2 pound of boneless bites, but there’s no way they give you a half pound. It’s way under. To make matters worse, the prices have increased. People work hard for their money, and shouldn’t spend it on dissatisfactory, sub-standard food. No one should leave a restaurant still hungry because of the food being barely edible. There are a lot better restaurants to eat at, instead of wasting time and money here. I used to love Januzzi’s, but not anymore. It seems like ever since the waitress Cassie left, the prices went up and the food quality went way down. It’s a shame... but I will never...
Read morePretty pathetic. I ordered the southwest steak salad, soup and a wrap. It wasn’t inedible, but the quality was quite poor. The description of the salad on the menu says “grilled steak” and “mixed greens”. Neither were true. What I got was a styrofoam container of what appeared to be shredded lettuce for sandwiches, halved cherry tomatoes, a handful of cheese, and what seemed to be old steak/roast beef that was cut into dog food sized bits. There’s no way possible that this steak was cooked for my order specifically. But they certainly don’t have a problem charging you as if they were using fresh ingredients. This is the kind of nonsense that pisses me off about our local food establishments. $8.95 for something that was no better than throwing together a bunch of random leftovers from the fridge. It’s been a long time since I’ve had anything decent...
Read moreOk have not had Januzzi pizza on I couldn't tell you how long, walked in greeted and welcomed into the establishment. I first started with their broccoli and cheese soup which came out nice and hot, it had chunks of broccoli and very creamy. Next which I thought sounded cool, bacon and cheeseburger egg rolls, you get two to an order and it comes with an onion aoli sauce which had a nice kick to it. Not spicy but I can't describe the taste other than interesting, went really well with the egg rolls. I ordered the mini supreme pizza, now the mini is six cuts which worked well for me and those other items. Ok this was delicious! Soft crust with just a little bit of crispiness. It was packed with all sorts of toppings like onions, pepperoni, sausage, peppers and a whole bunch of goodness. Definitely worth the trip here. Until next time be blessed...
