Read moreWent in at 10am on a Saturday in spring. It was busy. There is one door for an entrance and another for an exit, the line goes long inside and there are nick nacks to peruse while you wait and they have menu on the wall so you can see what you want before you get to the counter. We waited about 10 minutes in line. The server was friendly and cracked a few jokes. We ordered the Mean Green and a breakfast burrito. And 2 iced coffees. With tip $45. Coffees were good and they had good milk alternatives. You get a buzzer and wait outside, that set up is really good, no waiting for hovering around. About another 10 minute wait for food to be ready. The mean green was awesome, great flavor with a bit of spice in it. The breakfast burrito was good we ordered it with sausage but it could have had more flavor. Overall would definitely recommend and I’d try another sandwich next time. Worth the wait.
So went back the following day and ordered the mean green again because it was awesome and got the Rockin Rueben this time, it was great size and the Rye was tasty. Needed a bit more salt and pepper but otherwise fresh and tasty! Definitely recommend as your coffee and breakfast spot on your way to Sequoia! Well priced for quality of...
Read moreI usually love this place but had a really unfortunate experience today. I asked for an iced espresso, the cashier asked how many shots, I said 2 (the typical amount in an espresso pour). I see her ring up espresso x2, charging me $7 instead of $3.50 (or $3.75 according to their menu for a double). I ask again before I pay, she assures me it’s correct. I come in once more and ask the cashier as I don’t want to end up with 4 shots, she assures me it’s correct. I get my drink and look at the menu again and politely ask the manager how much a double shot of espresso is. The manager seems generally annoyed to be speaking with me and says she doesn’t know how much my drink was and I ask how much a normal double espresso is and she says she doesn’t know, she would have to ring it up. The cashier then shows the manager what she rung up and the manager says that is incorrect then hands me 3 quarters. So I still ended up paying $6.25 (plus tax and tip) for a $3.75 drink that might not have even been made correctly (4 shots...
