I've been going to this subway for over 5 years. Yesterday was my final attempt to get food from this location. Almost everytime I go to this location they are out of something, and lately the staff has been very unprofessional to say the least. Yesterday about 12:45 went through drive thru. I understand it's normally pretty slow process but I'm OK because I usually love the food. It's started off we ordered 2 separate orders which seemed to be aggravating to cashier. The first was steak n cheese, felt very rushed to give order, then ordered BMT, same thing rushed and felt alittle aggravated myself but continued to the 2nd order which was a very simple Italian sub. Was told to pull around for total. We sat at window over 15 minutes before seeing anyone. Then once we did was told they were sorry but they was out of lettuce, did we want spinach instead. I said no thanks (if I wanted spinach I would of ordered) but OK let that go considering we now are at about 20 minutes. Subs came out about 4 minutes later. Went home to eat and bread on the one sub that was suppose to be lightly toasted was like a rock. Seriously you could knock on the bread like a rock. The other sub had wrong veggies but one thing all sandwiches had in common was a sour taste. The only thing we all had that was the same was mayo, and the same cheese. We ALL have been so sick all night. We have all ate nothing else in common besides this for lunch so there is no doubt something was spoiled or bad. I'll be calling and speaking with owner in regards to this. Not to mention everytime for the past year they are always out of something. Bread, condiments, steak something, but come on lettuce? Thought well maybe it was the issues that had been going around with lettuce breakout but we still all good sick minus the lettuce they was out of. I don't like to be negative but I can handle a longer wait, or even younger employee who seems kind of rude but being sick and having to call off work due to bad food is unacceptable to me. Read moreFilthy Dirty Store! The CC machine was not working (acceptable! It happens), the attitude of the employee was deplorable. A maintenance working spouted out that they don’t take coupons nor credit cards and that there’s signs posted on the door! Why did maintenance tell us that and not the sandwich maker? Why is this location not taking coupons? Ok, so it’s noonish and why is your store disgusting? Why was the ice machine not filled? Better question is why did I even order? I ordered the Hotspot Italian Footlong with double meat TOASTED. My cheese was barely melted and my bread was barely toasted! I didn’t say anything to the store employee who probably hated her job, because I didn’t want to add to her misery. This poor sandwich maker was having issues getting the drawer opened. It was probably stuck with food making it difficult to order! This location should be shut down! The employees seemed to be no trained in Customer Service. It’s quite disgusting! For a drink, I chose the lemonade ne’er should I say yellow water because the lemon flavor was barely there! I wish there was something good I could say…well…for me, it was laundry day and it’s next door! I’d usually go to the McD’s but I chose for a healthier option; Subway! Qu’el Suprise! And now I’m out $15 for a footlong and drink! Would have been less had I been allowed to use a coupon! Never again would I come back and certainly will spread the word about the lackluster environment this location has created...
Read moreI don't normally stray away from Broad St. Subway, but for today it was closed so I went to Kauffman. Biggest mistake ever.
There were two gentlemen working there and they were extremely slow. Think the sloth from Zootopia. Which makes me feel bad because the guy making my food was at least polite when speaking to me. The guy making my order also spent the entire time talking to his friends that were kind of taking up space in line, they didn't move to the side until there was a crowd when they shouldn't moved earlier.
I ordered a protein bowl and two foot long subs. They made the protein bowl first and claimed they didn't have the fresh Mozzarella when they actually did. I reminded them THREE times about my two subs after having them stare at me after making the bowl like I was supposed to be done ordering. They toasted both of them together, which I don't think you're supposed to do and they were cold. Not even a little warm. I had to warm up my subs in my own microwave. I got home and found three banana pepper STEMS in my sub which about took my tooth out. We couldn't even eat our order because it was just nasty. About $30 down the drain. Wasted....
