I was in search for a Korean restaurant nearby since I was working in the area during the time and I came across this neat place. It looked very home-style and had a lot of great reviews, so I decided to give this place a try. I was greeted by the two waitresses that were working there at the time and they told me I was allowed to sit anywhere I wanted.

Originally, I came in craving 짜장면 (Black Bean Noodles) but when I got to the menu, I got stuck contemplating between that and the 수두부 찌개 (Soft Tofu Stew). The waitress that took my order recommended me the 찌개 instead. I ordered that at the spiciest option it could get and I'm not going to lie, but it did have me sweating quite a bit. Though, it was definitely a great choice! Very delicious! It tasted quite similar to the one my aunt makes. Their 만두 (Dumplings) was really good too! The service was excellent as well. The waitress I had was really kind and attentive.

Overall, a really satisfying first time experience and I'll be sure to come back when I'm in the...

First visit to this place while we are staying nearby as we move to the area. Glowing reviews and a busy parking lot are always a good sign.. We were seated immediately and quite quickly asked to order in a bit of a pushy way but they were busy and later discovered the lady working the front at that time doesn't appear to be the usual front of the house. I had the bulgogi lunch special which I thought seemed more braised than fried or grilled which would be my preference; meat flavor was pretty sweet BUT it was extremely tender and i didn't get any bites of anything other than beef so that is a definite plus. Portion was plenty large especially for a lunch plate. Hubby ordered Bibimbap- bit disappointed that the egg came out hard cooked as that is part of the wonderfulness of the dish. All in all we'd come back with more realistic expectations and try...

This places is very homey and warm. You feel like you're having a nice home-cooked meal after a long day. My family and I really enjoyed our time. I ordered a dumpling and rice cake soup and the dumplings were very flavorful and huge. The chicken bulgogi was tender and juicy. My parents had the seafood hot pot for 2 that was loaded with all kinds of shellfish and octopus. They have spice levels on the spicy foods so if you don't like heat you can still enjoy it. All the portion sizes were great for the price. We also ordered a side of tteokbokki and it's was the most delicious I've had here. We got traditional banchan and every one of them were tasty especially the seaweed noodles.I believe this is a family owned business and the woman who waited on us was so kind and helpful. I will definitely be coming back and I recommend this place for authentic...

Stopped by for lunch on our way to Yellow Springs, it’s a hole in the wall place with minimum decor that has definitely seen better days. The bathroom is located in the back of the building, so you’ll need to exit the restaurant and walk around the building to get to it. Remember to turn on the light before you shut the door because it’s pitch black with the door shut. The service is great, seated right away and took our order and food came out fast. We got the lunch special bimbimbop and spicy ramen with beef. Everything tasted great. The spicy ramen definitely takes like Shin ramen straight out of package 🤣 but I enjoyed it anyways. The normal menu price looked a bit pricy but I assume they come in big portions, there were a few items I wanted to try but was not available for lunch that I’ll have to save for the next visit.

Adorable Mom-and-Pop-style restaurant. Unassuming building located off of Kauffman avenue near Wright-Patt Air Force Base. The inside was cozy and had booths for me and my dining partner. Other tables could accommodate larger parties. I had the pork bulgogi. We both ordered from the lunch specials menu. My dining partner had the chicken version. I asked for the highest spice level -- five -- and it was appreciatively spicy. Those with more sensitive pallets may want to back off to a two or three. We got an extra order of dumplings, which were crispy and delicious. Our order came with numerous side dishes. I used most of them as toppings on my bulgogi. The fish cakes were my favorite, although the kimchi was also spicy and delicious. We will definitely return for dinner!

I just ate there a several of hours ago, each time I go in I ask them for chicken cheese Ramyon but every time they say if you bring in some cheese we will make it for you. This time around though I had my usual Dumplings appetizer and main course was Beef Ramyon. They stopped selling alcohol a while ago and not sure if there ever was a karaoke there. Food was delicious though, they have a spice level of Zero to Five so I went for spice level 2 but should have asked for 3. Bathrooms have something to be desired as they are outside at the back of the building. I will say this today was a bit cold and rainy and with all the Korean talk being spoken I felt like I was in Seoul again.
