Service was poor. We stood at the door and 2 waitresses looked right at us but didn't even greet us or acknowledge we were there. I get they were busy, but at least acknowledge people are there. This happened to everyone entering. We were seated at a table where 2 people had left and went to sit at another table. I saw why- table was super sticky and they even gave us their silverware! My boyfriend never got the beverage he ordered. The combo quesadilla fajita was good, but the street tacos were not. On Tuesday maguartitas on the rocks are $5 but be careful it is only lime! I specifically asked our waitress and she said if it was on the rocks it was on special so I ordered peach. I was charged $8.50. Upon questioning the lady checking is out showed me a flyer saying lime only in small print on the bottom- which of course was not on the sign nor the menu we were given! The waitress never checked on us after receiving our meals. We were waiting for our check and she only came back to tell us to go to the counter and pay. We would not...
Read moreFood was good. The environment was upbeat and enjoyable. Vary clean. Only negative thing is my drink was empty for most of the night but they looked like they only had 2 servers so it's understandable for a full house. But this being a tourist spot I'd expect alil tighter ship. Other than we absolutely loved our experience and will be come back when we vist
UPDATED: I came in and saw that there was literally only 2 people sitting inside and eating. I asked the waitress if me,my girl and our service dog could sit OUTSIDE and eat she responds with "how many" I said 2 AND A DOG. She said yes that would be fine. After bringing in my dog the lady sees that he is a Bully PUPPY and immediately denied his entry saying no dog no dog. Either 1 learn English bc you are in a majority not cultured area or quit judging dogs based on breeds. Our dog has papers and is one of the best trained dogs I have ever had and he is only 5 months old. Will not be coming...
Read moreNot gonna lie. In a town like this, which is not as ummm... "diverse" as where I'm from, I was NOT expecting authenticity here. I'm happy to say that I was dead wrong. They had something for everybody here, including a dish that I've never seen in a sit-down mexican restaurant before (and I've been to a multitude of different ones). I don't know where they are hiding the abuelita back in their kitchen, but the tamales were real. The chile relleno was real. The sopapilla and the flan were real. The burrito california was HUGE. The portion sizes in general were very large, making the price you pay for each entree (which was about what you'd normally pay elsewhere) very reasonable, especially if you decide to take half of it home to eat later. One of our favorite moments was when the cutest little girl snuck out of the kitchen and came to talk to us at our table. She stole my...
