This weekend I tried Jet's pizza for the very first time. Me and my girlfriend moved into the apartments down the street and upon moving in we were offered one free one topping pizza. It has been nearly 5 months and I had finally had a night that I could spare time to go and try Jet's pizza. The atmosphere of the place was very fun, the people working that night were outgoing and it seemed as if they really enjoyed their jobs. I had ordered a large 1 topping pizza and an order of wings, to-go. There were three more groups that had walked in after me 10 minutes later. Time began ticking by... the first group received their order and left, then the second, and then the third; at this time I have been waiting for my food nearly 45 mins. One of the workers finally came over and apologized about the wait and told me that they forgot to cook my wings and that was the reason for the long wait. This would have not bothered me if I had ordered over the phone (they could have not heard me clearly) or if I had ordered online(there may have been a glitch in the system), but I had ordered in-store to-go. That means someone, simply, did not communicate the order appropriately. Luckily, this gave me the time to inspect the restaurant and I discovered several things worth mentioning: - there was a dirty scum around the entire base board of the restaurant, -the tiles were completely discolored, -the utensil station was in a complete disarray, -one of the employees had picked their nose and began throwing a pizza, -the cashier handled money and then went to help make food without washing his hands. Finally at this time my order was ready, I took it home and the food was well prepared and tasted wonderful. After reviewing the menu, I wish that the cashier would have told me about the several different option crust I could have chosen since this was my first time. Read moreThe pizza looks okay except for the few toppings being burnt however I'm complaining because they offer curbside pickup which is great but the woman bringing out the pizza brought out two orders at the same time couldn't carry the six boxes of pizza so she decided to lean one order inside another customer's car while she handed her her food. This is a problem because the order that she leaned inside the customer's car was my order and that particular customer had a huge yellow labrador near my food. When I mentioned it to the representative she basically said well we're not allowing people to come to the door so you couldn't have got it and I was carrying two orders and I didn't want to drop your food so I had to lean it on her car and I can't help that she had a dog. I tried to explain to her that it's not the dog that's the issue but that she shouldn't take out two orders at one time when you can't actively hold them. I'm really upset and I wanted to complain through the actual company's website but unfortunately there is not an option to do so. Read moreMy boyfriend called them to order a large pizza for delivery, half one topping, half another. The guy my boyfriend spoke to seemed confused and like he had no idea what he was talking about despite this being a common order at pizza restaurants. Eventually, he says they can do it.
An hour and a half later and our pizza never arrives so my bf calls to check up on it and apparently they “meant to call him” and the guy working said he didn’t even make the pizza because he had no idea how to make it. Ooookaaay? First of all, how do you not know when practically all, if not all, pizza places have a half and half option? Secondly, why even take the order to begin with if it’s not something you can do? And finally, how do you seriously wait an hour and a half and still not remember to call someone about their order that they placed???
My bf told them to void the order and that we were taking our business elsewhere and they tried to argue with him on the phone until he hung up on them.
