Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Fairfield

I never review restaurants but THIS is genuinely frustrating for me because for SO LONG i have been waiting for a jimmy johns to open because i like the one in ottumwa. I spent a total of $20 dollars on the worst thing ive eaten in months. the Limited Items are absolutely awful. Everything is either weirdly sweet or too greasy or Both. I ordered the Caprese Salami Pesto. the cherry tomatoes were tough as steak, the vinaigrette was almost solid and there were full disks of onion in the middle of it. eating it was genuinely uncomfortable and i couldnt bring myself to finish it. this location is a pretty good reminder that fast food doesnt mean good food. eat from local...

Great staff. Everyone is kind and efficient. I would appreciate some improvement with their systems though.

Every time I order through the app, I have issues with payments that make the process take forever. I’ll try paying with several different cards and it’ll either say there’s a problem with the zip code or that it just can’t take my payment at this time. I can swipe my cards anywhere else and it’s fine, so I know it’s the app now.

I could order through doordash, but it doesn’t have the same deals and limited time items JJ has in their app - and understandably so, restaurants get taxed a lot to list with...

Have always been a fan of JJ's, the slogan was "so fast you'll freak" and it truly applied. Unfortunately the Fairfield JJ's is by far the slowest Ive been to. I order about once a week. The sandwich is good but expect to wait at least 10 minutes if you are the only one in line, longer if there are others. Another 13 min wait tonight. Just very frustrating. The Tex Mex sit down restaurant has a full take out order ready in less than 20 minutes and a caseys pizza was 15...
