Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Fairfield

2022 Update their still here after a rough 2020 and 2021, They lost most of not all their staff in those yrs but Clay has held on. The service is still good and so is the food. Sometimes their out of things but their religion about calling after you've order online to tell you if their out of something and to suggest a substitute. Supply chain issues really hit them last year but so far this year everything has been in. Staffing has been hard all around town so just be patient when dining in

I like coming here because Clay runs it. He always has a smile and super helpful. He was nice enough to deliver a pizza even though we're 2 miles outside of town because it was snowy. I know him from church and he knew it was just me and my grandma. As far in town service, the drivers are always nice and in store the ladies who run the lunch hour are Awesome. I may go to Pizza Hut in Fairfield every 2 months. Usually, it's early afternoon. More times than not, the manager has inappropriately yelled at staff to where the whole dinning area could hear him. I quit getting thin and crispy crust. They changed it years ago and it tastes like cardboard. Hand tossed is closest to old thin and crispy. They have staff retention problems. I was surprised that the 2 staff members were dressed in dirty clothes, and the pizza maker had unwashed hands. Both were friendly but not professional. Both were older than you'd expect at a startup job, but with this economy, it's getting harder to find a job period. You'd never notice there's a problem if you pickup or have it delivered. We went out as a family. I was on an important phone call when we sat down. Ordered family order of bread sticks before we even ordered drinks to get them coming, the lady came back to the table 3 times while finishing the call, got our drink order, dropped drinks, then came back again. I had to get off my call to "order" still haven't seen the bread sticks. Placed the order 3 medium pizzas, and then waited forever... finally the pizzas came, I asked about the breadsticks we ordered when I got here and she said "they're coming" literally last thing that came to the table. Next time I'll pretend thats all we are ordering maybe then we will get them as an appetizer like...
