We went to Skyline for lunch today because it’s my sons birthday and it’s one of his favorite places to go. Dennis greeted us at the door and told us where we could sit. He was awesome! He was funny and kind and made conversation. I told him it was my sons birthday. He was so excited for him. It was such a friendly interaction for my son (and my other children who were watching). He made more conversation with us while we were dining in. He told other workers and diners that it was his birthday. Our server (I did not catch her name) also wished him a happy birthday. It all made him feel so special. Robin also came over and talked to us and wished him a happy birthday. As Robin was ringing us out, Dennis came up and handed Owen a Skyline hat and told him it was a gift. They both wished him a happy birthday again and he was smiling big as we walked out. I'll go back eventually, but it's going to be a long while.
Edit: I was ordering through...

Humidity was over 79% and I have breathing issue so didn't have a mask on and was verberally attacked by an elderly man from behind the counter. I offered for him to speak to my attorney, he said he would until I got her on the phone, he then walked away. Once at the table 3' away, no mask was required. I tried to explain my medical condition to this angry man as he continued to verbally assault me telling me about laws (which don't exist) and mandates. I'm quite sure he wasn't approved to speak for corporate Skyline or the franchise owner(s). Wonder how many customers this angry man costs this Skyline...
