I just found a hidden gem right in the middle of Fairfield Ohio! I have driven by this restaurant 200 times in the last 6 months. I guess I was confused by their sign and secluded location. What is the name of this hidden treasure? Hot’N Spicy Restaurant & Bar, yeah right, what! Looking at their sign I’m thinking Vietnamese Pho, Korean Bibimbap, or Ramen Noodle Bowls, oh no, was I ever so wrong. It’s an Indian, Nepali, Chinese Fusion Restaurant. Today May 19th 2019, I had the best meal I have ever had in Fairfield Ohio!!!!! First of all, never look at their sign, just think of a menu of the best Indian to Chinese food you have ever ate! The Restaurant: This place was spotlessly clean inside and beautifully decorated, and the staff member (possibly part owner) that served me (Raju) (great dude) (ask for him) was very friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes.
The Menu: the menu has everything from your standard Indian dishes and curries to your standard Chinese fried rice’s. but there is so much more! An unbelievable number of Chinese dumplings and/or Himalayan Momo’s (think pot sticker!) There are lamb dishes, noodle bowls, Indian appetizers, and much more.
My Meal: Today I stuck to the Indian side of the menu. I wanted to try everything, I started with 2 appetizers, the potatoes pakoras, and the chicken samosas. The potatoes pakora was very good, the mint chutney dipping sauce was spectacular. But the chicken samosa was the best samosa I have ever had in my life (no kidding.) A samosa is a pastry like dough stuffed with a mashed potato, peas, and this time a chicken filling, then deep fried to golden brown. This samosa had such a delicate flakey crust, stuffed with a knock out punch of flavor filling (Best Ever!) I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and a side order of garlic naan. Very good-sized portion, veggies had a good cruch (not soggy) and the chicken was juicy and tender, and again the best Chicken Tikka Masala I have ever had!
The Price: the price is the best part, 2 large appetizers, a side order of naan (bread,) and the Chicken Tikka Masala with a bowl rice was $20.65. So much food I took over half of it home. Most meals are $7.99 - $9.99. Or get crazy with the lamb chops for $12.99. Pricing is more than reasonable on everything!
I can tell you this, I wouldn’t spend this much time typing this out if the meal were not amazing! Try it out! The secluded location is next to Big Lots at the corner on Symmes Rd and Route 4, Fairfield Ohio, 2 doors down...

Tucked away in a modest strip mall, this clean and well-maintained spot should be your next date night destination. The staff was very friendly and were happy to provide help in case the customer is new to Indo-Chinese offerings. The menu is only two pages but why complicate a good thing?
We started off with a couple samosas. They arrived hot and delicious and a bit on the large side along with mint and tamarind sauces. Exactly what we expected. Perfect.
Next, a little Chana Masala with our naan. We asked for them to bring the heat and they did in a respectable way. It didn't melt our faces off but was perfectly noticeable and it paired with the fantastic sauce.
I went straight for the Chicken Mo: Mo Johl. Delicious and surprisingly generous dumplings in a savory sauce. My leftovers will not see the dawn.
My saffron rice was light and tasty. The Tandoori Chicken was equally as stunning.
Knocked it out of the park and the prices are beyond reasonable. Two adults ate and took leftovers for just over $50 after tip....
Read moreI discovered it's a "fusion" Indian/Chinese/naploese/and something else restaurant and was feeling adventurous so I went with it. Great service and nice atmosphere, brightly colored and tastefully outfitted for an Indian restaurant. The lady that helped me was very kind and helpful. The food was at best flavorless including the garlic naan. I ordered chicken tiki masala it came with dry white rice and not the traditional jasmine rice I've become accustomed to. I may have been looking forward to the more than robust tastes of India and was very disappointed with my order. I asked for medium heat and received no heat at all sadly. I had 3 others taste the take out just to make sure I wasn't imagining something and they all said the same thing...good but not much flavor. I'm going to give them another shot to make sure it wasn't just an off day or a new cook. I will say the food was in good portions and filling just not the flavors I expected. I do appreciate the great service and that's why I'm going again to try maybe a house favorite. If you've never had Indian food before you would...
