HipHop Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Fairmount Heights

Nothing, and I mean nothing, was fresh. I should have known this was going to be a miss when it only took about 15 minutes for the food to show up via UberEats. Fish was stale, cold, had that sour fishy smell and taste and had all the bones still in it. Greens were undercooked and not well seasoned. Macaroni was mushy, bland, and had a sour taste. The corn bites were ok but too salty. And the store bought peach cobbler was cold, wet, and tasted like it had sat there for weeks. This place is more than terrible. In need of some soul food, I wanted to give it a chance but all I did was waste my money, time, and taste buds. I will never recommend this place and will always regret my decision to try it. If you're not already indoctrinated into this gross fast food chain, don't bother and explore...

Just left this establishment with my family without any food😡 The light skinned male who was taking our order decided he wanted to over charge my family for a meal! We kept our cool after he thought it was funny to look at the menu and asked us how much the side order was we where trying to order. Now we where hungry and trying to place our order which should have been 17.99 for a 20 piece wings and 4.59 for 2 large sides. Why was our total $44.49? Wth I know it must have been something wrong with his ears or register but that was my first time going there and my last. Not all hip hops are the same. I frequently go to sheriff rd. But today the food tastes and smelled like it was cooked in old grease. I explained that I'm a frequent customer and didn't mean to complain but that the food wasn't good today. The manager snatched the food away and told the cashier to refund money but if I ever came back not to serve me.
