I haven't been into Chicos for about a year now. But I live near the establishment and have frequented it. That being said I want to tell you that my local town tavern is extremely good, yet it always falls into mediocrity. The service there is fair, most employees are friendly, the food is low to average quality, and they have a decent selection of drinks. The one thing I will note though is the inside of the bar is falling apart (once again, it's been a year). But I have actually seen buckets being used to catch water from the leaky ceiling. Plus the establishment has never had the cleanist looking inside around (I've lived in town for over 20 years). They have done some upgrades to the outside appearance including a new sign, new siding, redone parking lot. But the guts of the place have been neglected. Anyways, I still would check the place out. Even though Chicos has its pros and cons, it's still worth checking out this little...
Read moreChico's used to be one of my top 10 restaurants. I was in yesterday and food was not good and the service was terrible I hate to say that about any place it took like an hour and a half to get a simple liver and onions and some dried up wings and oh cheese pizza must be about 50 bucks we spent. my date had liver and onions which was burnt to a crisp and very small portions for the prices they charge for and we sent her liver back cuz it was burnt to a crisp on both sides and it came back with another liver that's the whole bottom of the second one was almost as bad. Service was slow didn't check up on us often was more interested in gabbing over at the bar than assisting us wings were absolutely treacherous you might as well have picked up a dry chicken bone. Shriveled like little skeletons. Well I must say I would avoid it for now I'm going to try another 6 months to see if they've improved but maybe think about going somewhere...
Read moreI want to start off by saying I love Chicos. The atmosphere is always a lot of fun and the food is usually very great! Last night, my family and I went to Chicos for dinner and I really wanted a grilled chicken salad. I’m 8 months pregnant so the cravings are REAL. I saw on the menu the chicken salad was $17.99, which I feel like is VERY PRICEY, but I went for it anyways. I was very, VERY disappointed. The salad consisted of lettuce, tomatoes, a few fries, cheese and some nasty microwaved chicken. It was NOT GOOD and made me feel very sick all evening. I’m still confused as to why a salad was $17.99 but to top it off it was disgusting. Again, Chicos is great and the food is generally very good, but definitely steer away from any and all...
