Este lugar ubicado en Fajardo, PR está cerca de la playa al rededor de otros lugares de comida. El menú no es muy variado pero la comida es deliciosa. a mí me gusta ir a los lugares de comida ahumada y en mi casa también cocinó ahumado. Tengo que decir que la comida es una de las mejores que he comido a la leña. El pastelillo relleno de carne ahumada estaba a otro nivel. Nunca he comido algo parecido a eso. La carne frita ahumada, riquísima. Volveré y lo recomiendo.
SEGUNDA VISITA: Esta es mi segunda visita en menos de una semana. que quede claro, este local está a 50 minutos de mi casa, osea, regrese tan rápido como pude. Hoy comimos un pastelillo de carne ahumada, una Piña Colada, un churrasco con tostones y unas costillas con batatas fritas. El pastelillo es algo que en ningún otro lado he comido, me parece super novedoso ya que la carne está tan impregnada con el sabor del ahumado. Riquísimo. Estaba algo escéptico del sabor ahumado en una carne tan fina como el churrasco, pero el sabor está ahí bien presente, desde el primer bocado hasta el último. Los tostones de plátano son hechos en el lugar y no de bolsa, muy buenos. Las costillas estaban llenas rosadas del tanto humo que la carne recibió, muy ricas. Si podían estar un poco más sueltas, pero, esa es mi preferencia. Las batatas fritas bien crujientes como hace tiempo no las comía. La Piña Colada tenía un gran sabor, buen balance de Pina y coco. Me encanta la consistencia en el sabor de este lugar y todos ahí son super amigables. El chef en serio sabe muy bien la tecnica de ahumar las carnes, como muy pocos. Vuelvo a recomendar este lugar.
/////// This place located in Fajardo, PR is close to the beach around other food places. The menu is not very extensive but the food is delicious. I like to go to smoked food places and at home I also cook smoked food. I have to say that the food is one of the best I've eaten over the firewood. The stuffed smoked meat pastries were at another level. I have never eaten anything like that. Smoked fried meat, delicious. I will come back and I recommend it.
SECOND VISIT: This is my second visit in less than a week. Let's be clear, this place is 50 minutes from my house, I came back as fast as I could. Today we ate a smoked meat pastry, a Piña Colada, a churrasco with fried plantain and some ribs with sweet potato fries. The meat pastry is something that I have eaten anywhere else, it is seems super innovative to me since the meat is so impregnated with the flavor of the smoked meat. Delicious I was a bit skeptical of the smoked flavor in a meat so thin as churrasco, but the flavor is there very present, from the first bite to the last. The fried plantains are made on site and are not out of the bag, very good. The ribs were pink from the smoke that the meat received, very tasty. Th m at could be looser from the bone, but that's my preference. Crispy sweet potato fries like I haven't eaten in a long time. The Pina Colada had a great flavor, good balance of Pina and coconut. I love the consistency in the flavor of this place and everyone is super friendly. The chef really knows very well the technique of smoking meat, like very few do. I recommend this place again. Lol

We tried the smoked chicken and steak. Both were full of smoked yummy flavor and tender. Although we enjoyed both, I think the chicken could have used a BBQ sauce or something. The steak had lots of flavor for what is typically a cheap piece of meat. Very tender.
So my negatives here. I felt the chicken, steak, and fries needed some seasoning. Other than smoked flavor, slightly bland in seasoning. The fries need a little more time in the flyer, slightly mushy and no salt. Even when it was brought to our table, the waitress, without asking, told us she brought us salt and left it on the table. Just in indicator that we weren’t the first to think that. Finally, service was very slow. After ordering, we waited just over an hour for our main food. Yes, appetizer came out way sooner, so glad we ordered something. Finally, why plastic forks and spoons. It’s so hard to eat real uncut meat with plastic silverware.
