DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! This is one of the worst establishments I’ve ever been to. The woman working the bar was very kind, and she made a good mojito so we figured the food would be decent, but we were sadly VERY wrong. I’m pretty sure I’m going to end up with food poisoning. We ordered a shrimp salad and a lobster pastelillo. We tried the shrimp salad first and it tasted off so we called the woman over and asked what was in the salad and when it was made. She said she thought it was made that morning so we decided to try a bit of the lobster pastelillo to see if maybe it was just the garlic or something in the salad leaving a funny taste in our mouths. Unfortunately the lobster tasted significantly worse. The smell was enough to make us gag and it tasted rotten, like the stench of dying seaweed and seafood. On top of that there were shells in it. We debated for a few minutes whether or not it was worthwhile to talk to them about it because we didn’t want to offend them, and because many cultures aren’t accustomed to giving refunds, but we eventually settled on telling them. I’m still shocked and appalled at their reaction and my blood is still boiling. The man, who must be either the manager or the owner, came out to our table to ask us what was wrong and then proceeded to yell at us and berate us when we told him. He was rude, loud, and confrontational insisting that we’re crazy if we would think that he would serve any food that was going bad. He said that everybody loves his food and that this is simply what seafood tastes like on the island—but the two weeks we’ve spent on the island so far have proven the opposite. This is the WORST seafood I’ve ever had, not just on this island, but anywhere that I’ve ever travelled before. When he demanded we tell him a solution to the issue we asked for our money back and he got even angrier, accosting us and causing a scene in his own restaurant. Once we had finally had enough of his yelling we decided to just drop it and told him to keep the money and walked away. Between his attitude and his friend standing behind him glaring at us the entire time, we didn’t even feel safe and were scared of what might’ve happened if we stayed any longer. Avoid this place at all costs because the food was nasty and the customer service...

Read moreWalked here from the Conquistador resort (not recommended lol) towards La estación, they weren't open until 5, so we kept going till we reached this place. It was delicious, we tried a crab Empanada another appetizer with lobster and arreapa all were good but the arreapa was....amazing. Don't get me wrong, it's a whole in the wall, taco truck looking place, but it was real authentic Puerto rican food....and cheap. Food and 4...
