Our experience at this resort was deeply disappointing from start to finish. Please don’t be misled by the glowing, likely fake, bot-generated reviews as they do not reflect reality. Upon arrival, we were escorted to our “newly renovated” room in the main building by a friendly staff member named Angel. However, our wristband keys didn’t work, so he let us in with his own only for us to be greeted by a giant, dismembered cockroach. Disgusted, we returned to the front desk, where another staff member (also named Angel, wearing glasses) dismissed the situation. Despite the first Angel’s suggestion that we be moved to an upgrade room, the front desk claimed there were no available rooms (untrue) and instead claimed we were mistakenly assigned the wrong room. We were then sent to a 2nd room… and the nightmare continued. The resort uses wristbands as keycards and ours malfunctioned every single time we left the room which was about up to 3–5 times a day. Each time, we had to walk all the way to the front desk (in a very large resort) just to regain entry — even with a 71-year-old elderly parent in our group. Security visited multiple times to replace batteries and reprogram the lock door, but it wasn’t until day 3, after I firmly expressed my frustration, that we were finally moved to a different room… right next door. No upgrade, just a unit with a leaking air conditioner (see photo). For all this hassle, the resort offered us a very generous $70 credit, basically the equivalent of four drinks… as if that addressed the days of inconvenience and poor treatment. But it didn’t stop there. I was shocked to discover an unauthorized $300 charge on my credit card at 1:00 AM, with no explanation provided. The food across the property was mediocre at best, and their so-called “private beach” is completely misrepresented in the promotional materials — overcrowded and chaotic (see attached photo). It is nothing like the tranquil, exclusive environment they advertise. In summary: Do not waste your time or money on this resort. Poor customer service, unreliable accommodations, and disappointing amenities made this a vacation to forget. I’ve never felt more let down by a hospitality experience.

El Conquistador Hotel in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, offers a truly indulgent retreat. The boat to the private island is a unique and enchanting experience, providing a secluded paradise. The Acai bowls at the cafe are a delightful and refreshing treat, showcasing a commitment to health-conscious options. The water park adds a playful touch, perfect for families or those seeking some aquatic fun. Additionally, the spa facilities contribute to the overall relaxation, completing the spectrum of luxurious amenities. This hotel is a well-rounded choice for a memorable and diverse vacation experience in Puerto Rico.

This is my personal experience… this is a beautiful place everyone is awesome but this is something that I just didn’t like, and I have stayed in way lots of resort and this is the only one that has this issue I ordered from Door Dash and here I am in my room waiting for my food to arrive and surprise, surprise the door dash driver calls to tell me that I had to go all the way down to the gate because they won’t let them go in even if I gave them my name and room number I called down at the lobby and they said positive I had to go and pick it up from the gate if I wanted to my food… and you know I pay good money to stay in this hotel for them to come up with this stupid thing… so if you are staying at this hotel just know that they won’t deliver your food because the hotel...

This place was renewed with open spaces, pool tables, dance floor, game room for kids and the environment is for every one in the group to enjoy. It contains entertainment and restaurants for their guests. Outside the hotel you will find also local food and a variety of restaurants that you will enjoy as well. Awesome pool, gastronomical options inside and outside the hotel make it one of the best options in the island. Palomino Island is a must to go, you can’t miss it. Every one in the family will have fun! Wheelchair accessible and they have them available for guests upon request. Plenty of parking (you have to pay or...
