Visited in 2019, still very good food, but a "full bfast" tday was less & smaller that I expected. Then the redish blond loud lady decided to try to sell a Cubano sandwich without the ham, and charge us $8 for a Cubano and $6 for a Pernil and they were both prepared the same way according to her. After my sister and I, who grew up in the same town this place is located, explain to her the difference between the two sandwiches and pointed out that the had noth listed on their menu with detail info about the ingredients and the Cubano was more expensive bcuz of rhe ham, she decided, without asking the owner, to strike out the "ham" part of the Cubano. We had to explain again that was not going to work bcuz without the ham, the sandwich was only a Pernil sandwich and she ould charge $8 for a$5 sandwich just because of the name. I think she was asserting authority not assigned to her based on her relation...

I got rice, beans, and pork as well as another one with chicken. I used to live in the DR, and this food was similarly delicious. I also bought their tres leches and vanilla flan, and I think it’s the best I’ve had here after 8 days on the island. I tried flan and tres leches from Supermax, two different restaurants and another bakery. This one has the best of them all.
Reasonably priced and everything...
