Edit after second visit: So, we returned. This time with a couple of more friends. Apart from the coconut drinks, which we repeat ordered, this time we ordered all new things. Beef Rendang with a side of Egg Fried rice, Thai red curry (Chicken) with a sode of Jasmine rice and Sigapore Mei Fun (shrimp). Each one was perfect! So, all dishes we have tasted over two visits have completely lived up to our expectation.
This is brilliant place! If you are looking for authentic Asian cuisine with ample options, amazing ambience and no nonsense tasty food, this place is for you. We visited on a Saturday afternoon for a lazy lunch, and we were blown away with the options and the quality of food. The coconut drink, was a surprise and wow!! The steamed pork dumplings were delicate and a pleasure to taste buds. The dry chicken rice and the Green Thai curry with beef and jasmine rice was a killer combination. I would definitely return because it's hard to find such a brilliant Asian place that lives up to expectations...
Read moreCame in and was seated right away, coming before 7 on a Friday night is a must because they get pretty busy. A lot of people were waiting for pick up orders for like 30+ mins so order ahead of time. We got a bunch of appetizers. Please please try the peanut tofu item on the appetizer menu, sounds and looks a lil weird, but i loved it. I wasn't able to take picture of all the apps we got because we were starving. My grandma got the udon soup she really liked it, just SUPER filling. I got sweet potato and shrimp tempura rolls. As well as shrimp pad Thai noodles. They were delicious. The veggie dumplings were steamed and my little cousin liked them as well. Our meals did take a long time but each appetizer came out one by one so it basically let up to our meal so we didn't feel the wait. Over all we had a really nice experience and the atmosphere is very cute. Would i come back? Definitely can't wait. Worth the...
Read moreMalay Thai Kitchen is a hidden gem situated in a nondescript strip mall. Their menu features a broad selection of Malaysian/Thai cuisine with a few favorites, like satay and typical curry dishes, with several more unique options. The dining area is lined with string lights and Asian-inspired decor. It was exceptionally clean and offered a sleek, modern feel we didn’t anticipate based on the exterior.
From the moment we sat down the service was welcoming and attentive. They recommended the Dry Curry Chicken and Indian Bread. Neither disappointed as the chicken was tender and perfectly spiced while the Indian bread was flaky and served with a dipping sauce I’d order as soup. In fact, everything we ordered was flavorful and fresh. Portion size isn’t too generous so be sure to order accordingly. We will absolutely return to try more of their...
