I came here last night and had a horrible and dehumanizing experience. After stopping at the nearby Country Farm store around the corner, I came here to ask to use the bathroom. I currently have an acute condition that renders me desperate to use a bathroom when the urge comes. It is a sit-down restaurant, so they must have bathrooms right? Wrong. I come in, and I politely ask the young woman at the counter if I could please, PLEASE, use the bathrooms which I could see from where I was standing. She turned to a man working the grill behind her and they spoke in Spanish-- she told me that all the bathrooms are "out of order". Um, what? I tried to say that it was really an emergency and that I would buy pizza or whatever is needed but they turned me away! Really? Just like with my experience just a few minutes prior at the Country Farm store, I was trying hard not to cry at feeling humiliated-- could my money not buy me access to use the bathroom for just a minute for a medical condition? Heartless, absolutely inhumane. I am pretty sure that, by law or ordinance, restaurants - especially sit down restaurants - are required to provide some sort of accommodation for customers if not just for their employees. So, essentially I was lied to. And for what? Profit over the 2 minutes I would be in there for? Not cool. I will be calling the town today and be in touch with them about if this place needs help repairing all of their "out of service" bathrooms to meet basic hygienic guidelines for the state...
Read moreWorst pizza place I’ve ever been to in my life. Went on a road trip to Pennsylvania with 4 of my friends, and on the way back home we stopped by Sports Pizza. We figured it’d be a nice place to get some food. One friend orders a Hawaiian pie, and the rest of us get a larger sausage pizza. I got the cheese steak as well. We start eating and the sausage pizza was awful. It was worse than middle school lunchroom pizza. I had my cheesesteak and it was flavorless. I ate a small chunk of the meat and it had less flavor than air. I ate half my cheesesteak and after offering it to everyone else, I threw it out. I imagined that being so close to Philadelphia, a restaurant couldn’t possibly mess up cheese steak, but I was wrong.
It’s been three days since that adventure, and some of us STILL feel sick from that. The only one that never felt sick is the friend that didn’t touch the sausage pizza and got Hawaiian.
I would avoid this place at all costs unless you like pineapple on pizza. I had a slice and it was...
Read moreDon't bother. Maybe the place is under new management; it isn't going well. The pizza has always been OK. The sandwiches are OK, dinners are usually OK. The food is nothing to get excited about and the prices are on the high side for a meh pizza joint. The service used to be pretty good and it was close, so we ordered from there once a week or so.
Tonight, a Wednesday around 6:30pm our pick-up order was three sandwiches and phone guy said 20-25 minutes. Arrival half an hour later--they usually run late--and the food isn't even started. Another 25 minutes in the place, food still isn't ready and no one even apologized. An hour plus for mediocre food with no regard for a (regular) customer? Ended up giving up and leaving without dinner. ...
