This is my review of 2 visits from Epic Oyster. My experience was so great the first time that I had to return within the week! The food here is fantastic. There is an interesting twist of Cape Cod, Asian and Portuguese influence in the dining options. The oysters are mostly local and come with a listing of your selections so that you can refer to the list while tasting them. Wine selection is great and cocktails are fun and unique. Poké bowls are generous and delicious. Filet mignon and lobster Oscar was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT and was served with what I can describe as something between a thick potato chip and a French fry. If you are not a super fan of truffles, the truffled crab roll might be on the strong side.Lobster Gyros and fried oysters were so light and delicious. Lastly, while Epic does not offer desserts, they have a fun free ice cream cart in summer with small ice creams or popsicles. This place is a true Cape Cod gem.

Note• I am not sure why there were negative comments about the food portions at Epic Oyster. I thought every dish was perfectly portioned and the price reflected the quality ingredients they use. They do serve everything in thick cardboard containers that can be carried out. I think it is important for people to recognize that the actual restaurant is a train car so the kitchen is most likely extremely small. Only eating utensils are metal, which seems reasonable with the amount of dishwashing they need to do to serve their customers. Don’t let any of this keep you from going. There’s a ton of outside seating and reservations are obtainable online if you...

Update. We were contacted by the owner, Marc with an apology and invitation to try them again. We will and will report back.

We were refused service at Epic Oyster in Falmouth because MY HUSBAND IS IN A WHEELCHAIR! I have tried to call multiple times to see if this was a training and development opportunity for the host, but no one has answered. My husband made a reservation on line to celebrate our wedding anniversary at Epic Oyster and we were very excited to try it after hearing rave reviews. When we arrived the host explained he could not accomodate us because my husband is in a wheelchair. When I inquired about handicapped accessibility he stated that needed to be requested at the time of the reservation. We were shocked there was no effort to seat us short of offering to carry my husband to a seating area. I'm sure I don't need to explain why that offer was declined. It's also curious, if the policy is wheelchair accomodations must be requested at the time of booking, why isn't this prompted at the time of booking? We have NEVER experienced this before, and dine frequently at Quarterdeck, Boucatino's, Soprano's, Sienna, and Bobby Burns to name a few. Thankfully the wheelchair experience is temporary for us. To those whose experience is a lifetime, our eyes are now opened to the lack of true handicapped accessibility and genuinely hope awareness can make a...

I know things are hard for restaurants and that as why we eat out often and tip really well. But there is NO EXCUSE for how we were treated last night. We arrived at 8:15 on time for our reservation (spoiler alert) we did not get our food until 9:30. We ordered oysters, salmon and a poor boy. After 20 min we were told they had no more oysters. Really - Epic Oysters had no oysters??? That is why we went there in the first place. We were told by a vey angry and rude owner that we came too late and they ran out and that if we wanted to leave he would cancel our order. When we said we arrived on time at 8:15 he said that we didn't . He told us we were rude to the wait staff (no we were not) and he stormed away without an apology for being ill informed. We would have left but at that point nothing else was open. No one offered us bread (so we orered some as we sere starving) No one gave us anything to eat while we were waiting, , no appologies about the wait, no drink on the house. Our wine came at 9:40 well past the time we finished the meal. The salmon was great but not good enough to stop me from writing this review. I know it is the end of the summer and we are all tired but this is not the way anyone should be treated...

Good seafood fare. I gave it four stars because the preparation was very traditional (see below about the lobster bisque). The service was AWESOME! The oysters were very good and like all good oyster places they arranged them in order and gave us a printed list so we wouldn't forget immediately after they told us. The tuna poke was also good and I loved how you could customize the ingredients. The lobster bisque was good but very creamy which I think is how it's traditionally made. It had a good amount of lobster chunks in it. Nothing wrong with the preparation but it's neither my favorite nor does it compare well with how some others have reimagined lobster bisque. The cauliflower fried rice was a little bland too but maybe that's how it was meant since rice is usually bland.

July 2025. This restaurant came highly recommended from two different people. They raved about the place. Not a whole lot of seafood on the menu so we both chose the lobster casserole. Quite honestly, the lobster was pretty chewy - the claw decoration was the best part. With some asparagus and a few potatoes it didn't warrant the price in my opinion. What was amazing to us....we spent over $100 on our meals and when I ask for salt and pepper shakers - they brought out pepper in a small paper container (something like you would fill ketchup in at a fast food) and said "we don't have any shakers". What !!!!
