My family and I are pretty head-over-heels for Mexico: the landscapes, the people, the culture, and the food. We make a point to go on trips there 1-2 times a year, which gives us enough memories to tide us over until our next visit. One experience I think of often (perhaps as my happy place?) is eating from a clear bag full of homemade potato chips covered in lime juice and chili sauce while on the beach in Sayulita. This snack was quickly followed by a mango on a stick, also covered in a chili sauce. Both were absolute perfection and genius in their simplicity. This is all to say I’m all in on Mexican food, with extra emphasis on shack culture. This brings us to a random (but destined) road trip stop at La Michoacán Queens. I am back on that beach in Sayulita. I can practically feel the sand under my feet as I take bites of a perfectly ripe mango on a stick smothered in an equal parts sweet/spicy chili sauce. It’s unreal. I was lucky enough to get the last bag of homemade potato chips, which — just like on the beach in Sayulita — were covered in lime juice and chili sauce right in front of me. My family got ice cream, including the churro sundae, and I can attest to the fact they are also mentally on vacation right now. The staff are all incredibly helpful. If you don’t know what something is, they will show/tell/let you taste, all with incredible warmth and hospitality. I spent a long time talking to one of the sons of the owners. He’s incredible and I really hope he fulfills our plan of having them open a location up in Duluth. 🙏🏻 Go here. Try new things. And then keep coming back as those new things become your favorite things.

Service is impeccable. What an amazing grouo of people that extend so much love and help to make sure your experience is everything you could need it to be. The inside is very clean and decorated so adorably. Their food is to absolute die for. We went several times in 1 day. This is Def going to the the business of the town!

We stopped by on a whim as first timers, visiting family. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful! The ice cream and snack options were endless and totally new to us! My kids appreciated all the flavor /sample options. A must stop for us next time we get to town!

Great icecream/treat shop:) Found them on google and decided to try. AMAZING. Loved everything abt our visit from beginning to end. My daughter had the lime flavored and I had a churu sunday with vanilla, strawberry and whipped cream. Fantastic. I could eat them every day of my life. Super friendly staff, cute , fun decor. Clean and lots of flavors to choose from. Great location easy to find . Give them your business and you won’t regret it. We visited many places while in Faribault and this was #1. Will visit again 100% and look forward to it. We loved the Mexican menu, lots to choose from and AUTHENTIC to the point where when you see the food made right in front of you could swear you’re in Mexico. Everything looks made fresh. They had one bag of home made potato chips left and I’m kicking myself for not...

We had the best experience here! We are from out of town and are so excited to have a fantastic ice cream shop to go to when we visit. The choices are amazing, and the flavors taste great, but what really sets this place apart is the amazing service!!! The man was so helpful in letting us taste flavors and getting us a lid for our little one. Not all places are this helpful and patient. We...
