Boss Hogg's Country Kitchen — Restaurant in Farmersville

It is a place I consider a must try! I Been going here for many years. They have always been wonderful rather it's the food or service. Their Chilli is 7 out of 10 stars. That is pretty high on my scale. Omelets are done perfectly. They adjust to the customer on items ordered. If you are a fan of the television show Dukes of Hazzard then this is your "Disneyland " the decor was found buy owners and there is a lot of old items all over the place. To prove they are doing things right , they have been given many awards for the efforts. It is a small parking lot compared to the amount of people that arrive but at least on weekends the business next door is closed so a person could use the parking lot there. Terrible experience! Chicken Fried Steak was just on the brink of spoiling. Ordered my eggs overeasy I got overrunny egg whites. My biscuit obviously was old as it had been microved so many times it was like chewy leather. This biscuit was also so filled with baking soda/power that was brown instead of the white you would normally expect. The waitress was very hungover after. All the customers heard about her date with Lake Success and Crown Royal. I had to listen to her genealogy with cousins nieces nephews father-in-law etc etc. She was so busy grabbing nothing else got done. She forgot a customers napkins Lanier one's green salad and the list goes on and on and own! UGH! Don't waste your time and money...

We went for breakfast today had chicken fried steak and biscuts and gravy the food was so delicious the coffee was good and orange juice was fresh. They have homemade salsa that was so good. The diner is dedicated to the Dukes Of Hazards show from the 70's. It has memorbala from top to bottom even a wall painting on the wall of the car from Dukes of Hazards its a must see place in a small town of Farmersville I would recommend to all its very family oriented and the owner came over introduced herself and her daughter was very nice as well they were both very plesant to talk to.
