They have only been open for 2 months. Interior is so fun, feels plant life like.
Jaeâliyn is waiting on us.
Ordered a green tea, black coffee with side of oat milk, overnight oats with mixed berries, chicken fajita omelet with hash browns, English muffin with jelly (they do up-charge for English Muffin or for croissant), breakfast build-up sandwich, cheddar, turkey sausage, added mushrooms, peppers, onions and Jalapeno, all extras. $42.93
Sriracha is a $1 add-on. How bothersome. I should have brought my own, thatâs ridiculous to charge for a condiment!
The chicken fajita omelet has big chunks of chicken in it, looks better than it tastes, sadly. The chicken is chewy and at times gristly too. My husband commented that IHOP makes a better omelet than this place and they donât have any Cholula sauce. My husband feels they just reheated the chicken meat for their omelet, it wasnât fresh or freshly cooked at all. Had a hard texture. Their tomatoes for the omelet seems to appear canned. As expected their salsa is canned.
Their hot sauce is only red hot and sriracha for a fee.
The English muffin is soft and billowy, not toasted much.
Odd there is no ketchup on the table, itâs a brunch place, no? We had to ask for ketchup for the hash browns. Our waitress finally brought it out after my husband was done with his omelet and waiting on his ketchup for hash browns.
The hash browns were decent, frozen for sure as well, but slightly crispy on the outside.
The overnight oats was mushy and has chia seed filled, might have been better with some fresh berries, the frozen logged berries were not pleasant to eat or work around. The mixed berries with the overnight oats and mixed berries is made with frozen berries, disappointing to say the least. Not so good.
The turkey patty is frozen, the JalapeĂąo, mushrooms and their peppers are all out of can for their build-up sandwich. The best part of the build-up was the croissant itself.
Our waitress, not anyone asked how our food was at all. We had to ask for ketchup, two refills of coffee. Our waitress couldnât be bothered with us after the order was placed.
Service is not good, lack of attention. May as well just order at a counter here and pick up your own food to reduce costs, so it can be put into better quality food products.
Ingredients need to be fresh, not acceptable to put out the frozen, canned and precooked food items. Stop nickel and dimeing for every add-ons is not cool. Get better staffing and have each staffer work cohesively and hand a communal tip.
Be aware little here seems to be fresh, as one...
Read moreI have been here 3 times and I REALLY wanted to like it. However after today, I have no desire to EVER come here again. The only reason I came back after the first time is because my husband really wanted to come back. Every single time weâve gone the service has been TERRIBLE. Today however, was the worst!
We ordered our food. Ten minutes later the waiter comes and tells us that they donât have bacon for one of the omelettes, so we decided not to get it. Then he comes back again and says they donât have steak bites either which is something that my son ordered. We got pancakes and had to ASK for syrup. However, we get that can happen. Then the worst part is that when the bill comes, I SPECIFICALLY asked THREE times if the tip was included and he said no. I like to leave tips in cash so if itâs included I donât add as much. Because he said no, I gave him a THIRTY dollar tip! He finally prints it to give us the itemized receipt⌠not only is a $22 gratuity ALREADY added, the $17.00 steak bites are still on the receipt as well.
I asked for a manager and she said she needed to talk to him. After itâs resolved, he shows me the new total and I asked for a receipt showing that the other charge had been voided. He said he had to ask his manager about that. WHAT do you mean???? He then asks me did I want him to give me the cash back. The new gratuity amount was $18.00 and I still gave him an extra $10 and took back $20 of the thirty I originally gave him. He didnât deserve it at all, but I try my best to have grace because I get itâŚ. When I initially gave him the tip⌠He said Iâm gonna be honest, donât come on Sundays or Saturdays⌠Itâs busy and itâs always crazy⌠Wouldnât MOST people go to brunch on the weekend???? So why wouldnât they be prepared???? To make matters worse, when I got in the car to double check again⌠an order of bacon was STILL on the receipt! How do you put something on a bill that YOU said you did not have? It was $4.00 so I said forget it⌠but I will NEVER return. The experiences have all been progressively worse! The food isnât even good enough to endure the terrible serviceâŚ. The ONLY good thing about this place is the way itâs set up. Everything else is and was terrible! Iâm usually a person that only leaves a bad review if itâs REALLY bad. I typically leave good ones but this deserved every single word I took the...
Read moreNot the experience I was looking for.
Decor/vibe: Yes, it's set up to mimic a warehouse environment. It might work if the space were larger, but with the very small dining area it just seems crowded and unecessary. Seating for the floor tables (ie not booths) was hard metal "industrial" chairs. My drink arrives in a small metal tumbler, which had apparently been stored in a freezer, as it was uncomfortably cold. Interesting gimmic, but really it doesn't add, just detracts. They also have a dedicated carry-out window in the entry vestibule. This might be convenient, or it might just clog up entry, IDK.
Service: Server was nice, but not overly chatty. Took my order, and produced a drink in about 10 minutes. There appeared to be 2 servers for a total of about 20 customers. Server checked back at the 40 minute mark to inform me my order would be coming out soon. Indeed, it came out in about 5 more minutes, at the 45 minutes mark.
Food: The chicken sandwich was OK, nothing to rave about. It was, however, extremely hot. As were the fries. I'm talking burn the skin in your mouth, hot. The amount of fries was on the high side, and they were tasty enough, once cooled sufficiently. The drink was a bit small, probably 8oz.
Time: From seating to bill pay the experience took about an hour. For the 11 o'clock hour on a Tuesday, for a single customer, I expected a much quicker turnaround.
Cost: $23 for chicken sandwich, fries, and drink. Bill was paid tableside with a card reader. Server took my card, inserted it into reader and angled the device at me to select a tip amount and e-sign.
Impression: Interesting idea, but lacking in execution. Definitely not what I imagine when I think "brunch". I...
