Long Dragon — Restaurant in Farmington

Been craving Chinese food for months and came across this place while driving around looking for something to eat.

The parking lot is ran down and inside the restaurant is not faring much better which were positive indicators that the food would be good authentic Chinese food.

The employee's greeted me immediately with a huge smile. They were very helpful, quick, and willing to please they customers.

I ordered the sesame chicken lunch special which included chips, wonton soup, sesame chicken, rice, vegetable roll, and a fried cheese wonton.

You will not leave this place feeling hungry!

The wonton soup was decent, I could see it being too salty for others but I liked it.

My sesame chicken tasted more like sweet n sour chicken with sesame seeds sprinkled on them. Despite that, I still found it absolutely 😋 The cook the chicken perfectly, it's like a soft, flakey lightly breaded hot but sweet treat.

I did experience what negative reviews complained of. Many of my sesame chicken pieces was just breading with no actually meat inside...

The rice was flavorless but adding soy sauce instantly fixed this.

The vegetable roll was not a vegetable roll...It wasn't nasty or anything, just it wasn't no dang vegetable roll.

Meal came to $10.12, I tipped $10.

Your food is GARBAGE!! Paid $50.00 for food that taste like nothing but oil like you tried to fry the general chicken and the spring rolls where the oil wasn’t hot enough! The general chicken has no sauce just tastes like oil!! Your fried rice is a joke had a little bit of egg and looked mostly white no flavor what so ever!! You all just rushed cooking the food , slapped it together and called it good and threw it in the styrofoam containers and the beef broccoli we ordered spilt all over in the bag all over everything. This is the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had hands down!! Needless to say I’ll never spend my money somewhere where they don’t care about their patrons and Long Dragon you are in that group!! Your patrons pay your paychecks remember that!!!!! I also noticed that the owners don’t reach out to nobody whether it’s a good review or bad.. Would be nice to know if they actually cared what...

4/22: Have eaten here several times since the last review. Food is consistently good, generous portions, good service. Seasoning could be a bit better for my taste but better than most around here.3/21/20 18:30 Dragon is back open for dine in and no long line this evening. Food is as usual fresh and wholesome. Also as usual it could use a little more flavor. Pork Ribs: I'll skip this one next time if I remember. Was expecting those red cooked ribs often served in Chinese restaurants. These are not those. Not American style either, just totally unseasoned and tasteless. Like they were boiled. General Tso Chicken: Good job on meat and batter. Sauce could use more flavor.
