This is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Twin Cities. They opened many years ago in a shopping mall at the front of our neighborhood. We frequently went there to grab dinner and were always satisfied completely with the service and most of all THE CONSISTANCY OF THE FOOD. Having moved 15 miles from them 10 years ago, we still drove down several times per year to enjoy their food. When my daughter and I went for lunch yesterday, she - at 21, said to me: "You know why Mei Wei is such a great restaurant dad? Because there food is always consistent. It always tastes exactly like you expect it to."
What a chip off the old block...I've been telling her for years that this is the most important quality a restaurant can have.
Owners are friendly and courteous. Service is always good. If you have time to venture out and drive to get here, or if you live in the south metro - this will not be a wasted trip!
