The Ice Cream Shoppe — Restaurant in Farmington

I am so disappointed! We normally go to the skowhegan one, and skow is so much better!! We ordered the same order we get in skow, and they messed up everything in farmington.. we ordered 2 milkshakes, they gave us one we didn't order, and one as a cone ( she asked me if I wanted scoops, I thought she ment hardserve in my shake as we ordered a shake, she gave us 4 scoops on a cone, and got mad at me when i said it was suposed to be a shake)...no big deal, so one shake we didn't order, they corrected the cone to a milkshake, supposedly refunded the shake we didn't order ( we will see) and gave me one shake as ordered...then I proceeded to wait 15 mins or more for my sundae I ordered at the same time as the shakes, as well as my pupdish also ordered at the same time... I watched several people get there's as I waited and they didn't say a word to me.. finally I spoke up and they searched the slips and finally found and had to make my food right then, and gave it to me. The whole time im waiting I hear them complaing about me in the background, like from the moment they messed the milkshakes up.. the shakes were a mistake/mixup on both parts..its a crazy weekend no reason to be upset about simple mistakes... but being so incredibly rude when it was a misunderstanding was inexcusable!!! We Will never go back, we will drive out of our way to go to skowhegan where they are pleasant, and always gets our order right with a smile on...

I love your ice cream and I usually get very good customer service here. Today September 24th around 3:45 pm there was a young man who took my order first he came to the window and said nothing I said hi he said nothing again. He took my order I handed him 12 dollars in singles he didn't even count the money and put it right in the till. I could have handed him 3 dollars he wouldn't have known. Then I get my ice cream turn around from the window and he almost walked into me as he was leaving work he said something under his breath. This kid has a pretty serious attitude problem you could totally tell he did not want to be there at all. Not exactly the type of experience people want when going to an ice cream shop. Like this place has All the flavors any kid could ask for!! And I say kid because kids have an awesome imagination ...and this place leaves their (the kids) jaws hanging to the floor! It's got good parking space but I can see it get real stuffy on some popular Sticky days.. They've got places to sit right by the water..they've got a little brook that runs beside it..Its got some shady areas mainly on the left side of the building..Theyve got soft and hard and really creamy ice cream ..all comes water and waffle..cups and dishes for banana splits.. Caramels chocolates fudge nuts candy coatings ..oh sprinkles too..Theyve got the "WHOLE SH'BANG" LOL..You should go! Bring your friends ! Or go alone! It's just that kind of...
