Long John Silver's | Taco Bell — Restaurant in Farmville

First off the restaurant is combined with a Taco Bell and it's not one of those LJS/A&W's combinations so since they're combined they might not have the same menu variety. I was in town to do a few projects for one of my jobs and decided to stop here for lunch in between projects since we haven't had a LJS since late 2011 or early 2012. When I first walked in I went to the bathroom to wash my hands. From what I saw of it the bathroom appeared to be clean and brightly lit. After I washed my hands I went to order and like any other combination restaurant you can order from either menu but I don't think you can mix sides like I've seen at a LJS that's combined with a KFC. Regardless of what you can and can't order the cashier, Betty was BY FAR THE FRIENDLIEST employee in any Long John Silver's and/or Taco Bell I've ever dealt with!! As she handed me my receipt I think she said something like enjoy my meal (it's been almost twelve hours ago now so I don't remember exactly what she said). There was only a few customers in the restaurant so I guess that's why it didn't take long to get my order. When the female employee called customers' names and saw them pick up their order she told them to have a good day. Then when I was eating Betty was walking around the dining room I guess wiping down tables and asked customers including myself if they were doing okay. The only other fast food restaurant I've seen that at is Chick-fil-a.

The food was good. Not great like it seemed like it was when I was a kid and at this location you only get one side but it did make the meal cheaper and the combo I got included a 20 oz. fountain drink. Whereas a similar combo I get at another location does not include a drink but does do two sides.

I don't come through Farmville often but if you go here and you see Betty you are getting a top notch employee...

Since the reopening of this location the food has suppingly good. Hot, fresh and no longer using old oil to fry the food in. The coleslaw needs some work. Very little dressing and the cabbage is in big hunks.. very hard to eat . But over all the food has been consistently very good .. The service is a very different matter . We tend to go mostly on Sunday afternoon and some of the time the service is excellent, polite, fast and accurate. Other times it has been just horrible. Missing items, no condiments even thought we asked for them using the App. No idea what a mobile order is and trying to get us to pay again even though we paid via the app. So it you hit the good Crew the service is top notch.. hit the other crew and it is like trying to explain to a toddler that is to busy with their toys to pay any attention to what you said or what they are supposed to be doing . Now we check out order before we leave the window . 50/50 that everything is in the order . We always order and pay via the app and use...

Went here for the first time in 10 years today 4/26/23 Decided to give them another try . I took my lunch break and rode over there placed my order the lady at the counter was nice. 16 minutes waiting they still didn’t have my food even cooked. I said I needed to leave and wanted a refund took them longer to get a manager to give me a refund . I assume the district manager was there and still wasn’t even empathetic or acknowledging my issue . Tried to get her attention but she was busy fraternizing with the employees . When I got a manager to give me a refund he’s like are you sure I can cook it right now . And said I can take it with me since my lunch break was over . I’m like dude I rode a motorcycle here where you want me to put it. Now I’m sitting back at work famished and disappointed yet again with the horrible service of this establishment.
