This restaurant is located within a college town..this alone would lead someone to assume that itās successful..but itās not. Before I even start to address the lack of professionalism , long wait times, or poor customer service..I have to be fair and acknowledge that this is not the complete fault of the regular hourly staff. I was told by regional management staff/recruiters that there is a serious issue with finding competent management for this location..and it definitely shows. Although I had many reservations about applying to work here, I decided to apply for the assistant store manager position..I had to travel to Appomattox numerous times for multiple interviews..I met with regional management, discussed salary, and the salary was approved. I was complimented on my interviewing skills and praised throughout the whole process. I was told that once everything was finalized I would receive my official offer. I waited for days.texted my interviewers iPhone (who had read receipts on) saw that my messages were read..and never heard anything back. The position continues to be reposted. Employees look to management as an example and for guidance and coaching. It is an unrealistic expectation for regular working staff to be efficient and professional when even some of the regional/area management/recruiting employees lack the basic skills necessary to be successful in any area of business. This restaurant location will continue to fall below sales goals and their reputation will stay the same if there is not a change from the top down. I would not recommend anyone applying to work here in any capacity. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe employees in this restaurant are outstanding. I attempted to order from the drive thru. However, l was informed that it was temporarily closed. The salesperson was so polite ; l felt like l was being greeted on a cruise ship. I proceeded inside to place my order. There were about 30 customers waiting for orders; walk-in, door dash deliveries and then the drive thru was had been opened. I was greeted by ā Destiny((cashier)ā. She was over abundantly nice, kept a smile on face during the entire time never wavered. I waited for approximately 40 minutes. The staff at this Taco Bell maintained the highest level of professionalism at a restaurant and of which l havenāt experienced in awhile. I didnāt mind the wait; I actually rung that bell as l was leaving. I think that Taco Bell needs to be equipped with a better software system for the employees. The screens need to be lowered for the person taking orders to prevent constant neck strain and eye strain near the window. Production is only fast as its input. Help your employees out with more efficient equipment. You have an excellent staff at the FarmVille Taco Bell/ L J Silvers. By far, this is not a complaint on behalf of your employees. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wasn't sure what I wanted so my 2 grandkids and I went inside to order. It was around 4:45pm on Sunday. A guy was at counter and I said give me a minute to decide. He went to back. Two others were waiting. They brought 1st ladies order and it was missing food, however they made quickly n apologized. 2nd lady still waiting on order. The guy still had not returned to take my order. A lady told me someone would be there shortly n hollered to guy that someone was waiting at register. Five min later the lady told me the same thing again n hollered to the back again. Other lady still waiting for her order. Then one of my grandkids had to use bathroom so I stood at bathroom door. Lady waiting told someone I was at bathroom. A minute later I come back out and still no one at front. We walked out! There was at least 8 cars at drive through. However the person at drive through was at least at window taking orders and getting food to customers. A sign inside said hiring managers. I think they may need to replace some current workers too.
