China Garden Restaurant — Restaurant in Fayetteville

Ok, I'm not one for bad mouthing businesses and I usually don't give anything lower than 3 stars unless everything was completely wrong with the environment. I ordered a meal from this establishment (Boneless spare ribs with shrimp fried rice) October 29, 2011 and I must say my meal was adequate and I had no complaints. The following morning I woke up with a sickness that left me with a high fever, a knot in my stomach for 4 days straight (not over exaggerating), and no appetite. I had to force myself to eat an apple a day. I was 23 at the time and I can honestly say for the first time in my life that I've had food poisoning from the China Garden. I would not recommend this place to anybody. There are plenty of other chinese establishments near by that are delicious and I'm pretty sure will not have any foul, parasite infested, old food. Again, I am not a disgruntled customer or anything like that, but the pain I went through that week just from eating this "meal" was indeed excruciating and I felt my voice needed to be heard to warn others. Save your money and go to the China Wok Buffet and Delivery...

I would give this no stars if I could. My first time ordering at this restaurant. I placed an online order at 6:09 PM which totaled to $52 and some change. I immediately received an email showing my order was placed. At about 7:40 PM I started wondering why it was taking so long to deliver since the ad literally says very fast delivery and they stated they did not have an impending order. After explaining I ordered online the lady stated she hadn’t checked her email and that now she saw the order. Meanwhile, she isn’t pleasant or apologetic, more rude and annoyed than anything and says I can have this made now if I still wanted it. I asked her how long it would take and she stated it would take another 90 MINUTES! She didn’t offer any expedited service or any type of convenience discount or any decent customer service for that matter. Horrible customer service. This could be the closest and best Chinese restaurant near me and I would spend the extra time to go venture further for a different one. No idea how this place is still in business if it can’t manage an easy online...

Although this place is randomly placed by a gas station right off of Yadkin gate. I have yet to be disappointed by their food. For the last three years I've order Chinese food from this place numerous time. This is one of the only places in Fayetteville that I eat Chinese from. Their shrimp Noodles are very good and their hot and sour soup and sesame chicken n get disappoints.

I'd say if your looking for a good Chinese takeout place this is your go to retiring. I wouldn't waste my time dinning in because no matter what time you go in there night or day you will never see anyone sitting in there. And probably for good reason because the onside is pretty run down. ALS don't expect to find real Chinese dishes like bok choy or fish soup. This is strictly for American loved favorites like general chaos or shrimp lo mein or sesame chicken. But all in all this is a fantastic place to carry out food that you want to...
