I had a sad looking bowl of Kimchi soup with bits and pieces of dried up pork that came with three sad little banchan plates. Food was not as it used to be but it’s more palatable than the server’s attitude today. I will be specific so you know which employee to talk to. Please tell your Filipina server if she don’t like people, or serving colored people like my biracial daughter, just stay home or find another line of work. You can’t be walking around acting like a bipolar queen when you work for tips. We are there to eat and you are there to serve, it’s not our job to please you, or beg for your service that we are paying for. While the food was delicious the service and portion size was not worth my time or gas. Not to mention, the waitress acted like she didn’t want to serve me. I didn’t wanting to be too hasty in my critique. So, I opted to invite a couple of colleagues that’s familiar with the establishment, out to dinner. I never told them of my experience. Wouldn’t you know it that same lady was our waitress/cashier. Dinner went from a variety of topics discussed to silence to “ To go box please.” It was very obvious she did not want to serve us. I used to frequent this restaurant (for about 3 years) but after two times of having the same issue and being addressed coldly each time, I’ll take my money elsewhere. I not only received the wrong order but was served food with hair in it. Upon asking for refund or for NICER service I was treated quite coldly. I was informed that the “staff wears hairnets”. I was also informed that I “must’ve placed the hair there”, to which the color of the hair, does not match my own. Mind you, I’ve had occasions where I’ve been the ONLY person in or ordering from the restaurant and spent a good deal as well as having placed a $215 order that had no errors and I provided a large tip.
