Golden China — Restaurant in Fayetteville

Just ordered 30 minutes ago and my food is gross.

I normally do not leave reviews but I felt like I had to for this place, that’s how bad it was. I ordered a large Orange Chicken and a large General tso’s and they both were really gross. Both were very slimy, mushy, and just sweet nothing else. Not sticky either just really wet. The orange chicken didn’t have any orange flavor to it and the broccoli had a weird film on it. The General Tso’s was worse.

I also ordered a large shrimp fried rice, on top of it being mushy (the shrimp not the rice). All the shrimp still had the “vein” in it and the whole container had no flavor in it at all. I thought maybe the shrimp was just a fluke, like maybe they missed cleaning one or two (hey, no one is perfect) but no.... I checked the entire container, every piece was left with the “vein” still intact.

Unfortunately, First and last time I will order here. $30 bucks in the trash and I still have to figure out what me and my husband are going to eat now.....

It’s a THUMBS DOWN for me..... its a shame too! The place looked very clean and the people there...

I order listening to the reviews drove out my way. This place isn't bad and isn't that great. The rice tasted weird, old oil, and flavorless not enough meat in it( but I must say the roasted pork was amazing flavor it helped the rice out a lot) I didn't finished the rice but ate the meat in it. Eggroll horrible squished and fired in same bad oil, As for the General tso chicken it was the reason they get 3 stars spicy and the batter and sauce amazing. I could tell it was real chicken too. Overall I will visit and give them another chance just not soon. I live on the other side of town and definitely won't waste gas to just run there but if I hungry and stopping by compare i may stop in to check it out...

Do not trust the 5 star reviews on here is all that I can say. We tried here after seeing it had such good reviews, and it was so horrible. My mongolian beef ended up being chicken, and it was shredded super thin I didnt even know at first. Then, the veggies were super mushy and slimy. I honestly felt like I was eating wet dog food... my husbands order wasn't any better. My friend ordered a few meals for her family, and they couldn't take more than a few bites.
