All websites and the sign on the door says they close at 10:30 PM on Friday and Saturday night, so we got there at about 10 PM last night, which I know is late and have worked the restaurant industry so, I was prepared to order quickly, eat quickly, and tip heavily for us running in after the 50s show bc we were starving. We walked in the OPEN door and there were about 4 staff members all just standing at the host desk area - not cleaning, not putting up chairs, or rolling silverware - and he said, "Ohhhh, we're so sorry, we're closed." So, I said, "Well, your door is open and everything on the internet says you're open, soooo..." And he just said, "No, sorry, we're closed." Went to Las Trojas, which is where we should have started anyway, and they also close at 10:30 PM. We received IMPECCABLE service and not even a hint of annoyance. (And they got a 100% tip for that.) If you don't want to serve people past a certain time, you should close at that time. First time trying, and needless to say,...

I ordered Fiesta Acapulco, Chimichanga Trio, two tall draft beers, and cheese dip for the chips.
The chips tasted like they were fried in burnt oil that left a bitter aftertaste. The salsa and cheese were watery to the point where most of it landed on the table before getting it to your mouth.
The meat in the Acapulco was cooked well, but the dish was too salty to eat.
The trio had dry chicken and overcooked/tough steak. The shrimp was good though.
To top it off, we spent the whole time swatting away flies and gnats.
I really wanted to like this place especially since the other two Mexican restaurants in Fayetteville are way overpriced and bland.
I would have given a one star review, but the bill was only $50, the beer was cold, food came fast, and the...
Read moreThe ONLY reason it's not 5 stars is that our waitress while helpful didn't follow up once with us after we made our order and they don't sell liquor only beer. Nit pick I know, but that's frustrating if you've never been and craving a margarita/mojito/etc. Food was outstanding!!!! Reasonably priced, excellent menu options, quickly and carefully delivered. We had our 1yr old with us and some places sling or place those hot plates near little hands with disastrous effects. Not here! I couldn't have been happier with the quality of food, cleanliness (not newest building but nothing was obviously filthy or neglected), and price!!! This our current fave easily outpacing La Fuenta and Los Trojas in every way EXCEPT decor.... But come on... You go out to EAT!! Not pay extra because of pretty and outlandish decoration that has no effect on...
