North End Coffee Cafe Bake — Restaurant in Fenton Charter Township

I got the recommended "Snickersoodle latte" which being a cinnamon fan and an avid coffee drinker I was excited to try. I paired it with the carrot cake muffin. (Thought this combination was a good idea). The service was great! The staff was very friendly. The shop was clean and tidy and asthetically pleasing kind of like going to grammas kitchen. The iced latte: the cups are modern and classy clear plastic, but the straw is a white cheap bendy straw that I would use at school on a milk carton. I would like to see a better straw. The coffee was more of a flavored milk..... Maybe a drop of espresso??? This was disappointing. They went to the pop machine to get the ice which was odd. Also a large is in a 20oz cup... After you figure in 1-2 oz of ice you're looking at a "large" later at 18oz for $5.75. also most coffee shops put whipped cream on the iced lattes and I just feel like this extra bougie touch was missing. The muffin: carrot cake muffin- I feel like the base was made from bran that should be advertised as such, the top of the muffin was phenomenal! However the rest of the muffin was very dry and crumbled apart and when I personally picture a carrot cake muffin moisture is key.

I feel that it's a little pricey for what you get but over all not the worst coffee shop to stop at. I may try one more time for the soups salads and a better...

Very cute coffee shop. Horrendously disappointing service. Despite having three people behind the counter and it not being very busy, I waited over 20 minutes for a simple bagel with cream cheese before I gave up waiting. Went up to the counter twice during that time and was told they were "working on it." (First time was to inform them we were moving from the back with its flickering lights to a front table, all of which were dirty.)

My friend waited patiently to eat her scone with me. They started to walk my bagel out to me as I approached the counter to ask for a refund. When I got back to the table and looked at the refund receipt, they refunded me 49 whole cents. It took 2 or maybe even all 3 people to figure out the refund. My friend had finished her tea in the now 30 minutes since we ordered so she had nothing to drink while we split her scone. We certainly weren't going to ask for anything else.

They were apologetic (and barely so - "people make mistakes") ONLY when I stated that 20 minutes was too long to wait for a simple order, especially when others who ordered after me had gotten their more complicated ones. Would...

Cute place and but instead of the cappuccino I ordered, I think I was given a cup of steamed milk. It had ZERO coffee flavor and was a very pale beige color so I think they forgot to add the espresso? Not sure but I pitched it. I got it to go, otherwise I would have had it remade. Instead I literally threw away the $5 that I paid for it. My everything bagel had the best texture for a bagel I've ever had, but I felt like it was a little sparse on toppings. I would give it another try. Maybe I just came on an off day because it seemed to be pretty...
