Beach Bums Bar & Eatery — Restaurant in Fergus Falls

Food is always good. Drinks are pricey... for the little bit of alcohol they put in them. I had a Pele burger with bacon. It was delicious, but the fries were like half the amount of anywhere else's for an order. I gave service a low rating because when i went to set at the table...i placed my hand on the tables edge to balance myself as i sat down...the table instantly tilted and all the holders & their contents hit the ground busting the glass jar of salt. NOT 1 SERVER came to check on us, or even offer to clean up the mess, nore clean the other stuff that got glass shards im sure on them. I went to get a broom & dust pan as i was walking to where that stood along the wall into the kitchen one young lady says...that is the kitchen...i was like ya, ok i need a broom...she just walks away saying something about bathrooms over there. I cleaned up the mess and put the broom & dust pan back...afain not 1 server checked to make sure all glass was swept up, offered to clean up all thebstuff that had hit the floor or even check to see if anything else had cracked or chipped. I'm not impressed.

I will say the bar tender dude was pretty good. Over all ill eat there again every time im in the area. But I will expect the not so great service from the staff as normal.

I'm not a fuffy booze drink type... but the furry or fuzzy cocunut drink was awesome. The hurricane was not too bad either.

My friends son had the all you can eat wings. They are small wings, but he said all the flavors he had was very good! But $17 for...

Hugely disappointing experience. We pre paid for a special event (crab boil) and went with another couple. The restaurant area was already full when we got there at 5 which is when the event supposedly started, so they sat us in bar area. We ordered tap beers that took over 15 minutes to arrive at the table which was literally 6 feet from the bar. Food also took longer than normal to arrive, which was sad considering there was only a couple options for the 1st course (salad or jambalaya). Otherwise it was all the same. We finally just started walking the 6 feet to the bar to get drinks since that took less that two minutes vs the 10-15 minutes via our server. At one point she took a drink order from our table, came back about 10 minutes later and then asked what it was we wanted again. I will say she may have had a larger than normal work load, but it was still no excuse for her terrible service. We definitely felt like we were an inconvenience to her

The food was mediocre at best. The crab was very bland and just seemed dirty. The corn on the cob was way overcooked and mushy. For the $21.95 price we don't think we got totally screwed, but everything about the experience left us wanting for better. It was our first and...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stopped at Beach Bums on Otter Tail Lake last night and the place was packed—they were in the middle of meat bingo (yes, that’s a thing, and yes, it’s as awesome as it sounds). There were four of us in our group, and somehow, we managed to get seated right away. Service was on point from the jump—we were greeted right away, drinks were ordered and delivered almost immediately.

I went with the ribs, and our server confidently promised they’d fall off the bone. I was not disappointed. Absolutely perfect—tender, flavorful, and cooked just right.

Between the energy of the crowd, the fast service, and one of the best rib dinners I’ve had in a long time, this place nailed it....
