This pizza was so good we desided to move to Ferndale. We got the medium size "wild-cat" pizza.. it was old-school style w the awesome cheeses on top of the other extremely fresh and flavorful toppings.. the crust in my mind was perfect, flavorful w a perfect texture. I think i remember being like 4 meats on this particular pizza and every one of them was so very delicious - a true meat lovers delight! When my wife asked for a little garlic salt the waiter not only brought salt but also a nice helping of fresh ground garlic.. and a free refill of her soda - needless to say - the staff was great. This place has been here since 1994 so yea.. its all good and cant wait to try everything on their extensive menu!!! Theres all kinds of sandwiches, pastas, Italian dishes, salad bar ect. Cold beer.. very new new and clean rest-rooms, sit indoor or outdoor.. oh yea - the prices are fair-the medium specialty pizzas started around $22- and was way more than my hungry wife and self cold eat.. the staff put all our extra goodies in a box and away we went completely satisfied with our new dinning experience. if i had to say anything negative it would be so insignificant that it would be useless.

That was honestly some of the worst pizza I’ve had. Undercooked dough that had as much flavor as the roof of my mouth. So little sauce that it seemed like it was glazed with tomato soup. Toppings under the half inch of cheese. Read that sentence again: TOPPINGS UNDER. As in the ingredients that go ON TOP of the pizza are buried under cheese that, for a cow town that’s all about dairy, was not good. And even though it was 4:30 with only two other parties in the restaurant, it took over 30 minutes to come out of the kitchen. Anyone who claims to like this pizza has apparently never left Ferndale. I’ve had better pizza from a gas station. The picture says it all. Right after I took it, the pie went directly in the garbage. I wish I’d spared the cardboard box the shame of having to be the vehicle for pizza so bad that I realized I wouldn’t even want it when I was drunk and hungry later.

I heard that this was the best pizza joint around, and boy was I let down with the food. The atmosphere was mediocre, nothing fancy, so it made it great for the family, and they also had some games and sticker stations for the kids. The portions of the food were big enough for us to share and still have leftovers. The flavor of the pizza was okay. The sauce had barely any seasoning and bland. The chicken alfredo had good flavor, but the sauce was more like a paste and got worse as a leftover. It literally turned into a brick. Lastly, the kids' spaghetti was the best option on the menu, perfect portion, and decent flavor. Service was fast and polite, and the kitchen was partially open so you could see them preparing your food. Overall, I might give them another try, but to be honest, I'm going to stay away for a while in hopes that they get better.

First off, I’ve got nothing but good things to say about the town of Ferndale. This town is really freaking cute. We stop to see the town every time we’re in the area. Upon the last visit, we tried the Ferndale Pizza Co. for the first time. From the outside, this corner spot looks cozy. The moment you walk it is clear that the staff are working diligently to be of service. We ordered a plate for the salad bar (only made 1 trip as permitted) and what a trip it was. The ingredients are fresh and well stocked at the salad bar. We also ordered a vegetarian pizza with extra mushrooms. The dough here is quite tasty but the ratio of toppings to cheese was off. I believe a good pizza pie has an even layer of cheese spread from crust to crust and should be the second component put down after the sauce. Our pizza had cheese piled onto the toppings, therefore; making it heavy and eventually soggy in the center of the pie. I know I would’ve enjoyed this pizza more had there been half the cheese put on the pizza, while allowing the toppings to caramelize in the oven. Pizza is an art and there’s always room for growth. Overall, this is a good review for a place that has great potential. Keep it up Ferndale Pizza Co. and we will see you the next time...

Hands down the best pizza place around! When I think pizza I think Ferndale Pizza Co. Not only is there main dish incredible, but they also have Spaghetti and Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. Both are just as amazing, the bread on the side always tastes fresh and is very fluffy. If you aren't into gluten they also offer a personal gluten-free pizza. If you aren't into pizza or pasta, well they also have a pretty good salad bar.

There customer service is one of the best around, all the waiters and waitresses do an incredible job at making you feel right at home. There is this one guy there, not sure of the name, but he is always smiling and is incredibly nice. Their entire staff completely deserves whatever tip you decide to give them.

Last but not least, the atmosphere. I always have a good time waiting for my food looking around at all the cool little decorations they have. This place has a lot of character. Lots of fun signs all over the walls, and out front they have beautiful Edison bulb string lights. Really adds to the energy of this place. Very warm and calming, like their food. This is the perfect place to take your significant other, friends, family for a cozy pizza night. Highly recommend...

This is pizza done right! I'm quite selective when it comes to pizza and there are a number of factors that make Ferndale pizza great. The store is clean and the staff as well as owners are very friendly and approachable. The atmosphere is very "small town" and overhead speakers play a nice mix of classic pop tunes at a pleasant volume. There are plenty of windows that let in plenty of light and allow for people watching. There is also outdoor seating. As mentioned, the food is wonderful. Fresh grated parmesan cheese and pepper seeds grace the table along with the usual suspects, salt and pepper. The pizza dough is fresh and full of hand tossed goodness. The sauce seems to also be made "in house". The usual toppings are available. The cheese is the real star of this show here, marvel at the shear amount of it and the fact that when it's fresh out of the oven the stringiness is almost unmanageable, but oh so delicious. The other menu items are also worth having and prices are reasonable. Do not be put off by the pizza cost, a large single topping will easily feed a family of four and if you ask nice they will also make a "personal size" pizza that will challenge anyone to finish in a...
