Food was great. We asked for super spicy, they asked "Indian spicy?" We said yes. They gave us a look like, good luck! As we took the food and went out the door. We got home and it still wasn't as spicy as we hoped for! We are obsessed with spicy food. But it was still delicious, I know that restaurants don't want to give customers food that is super spicy for some reason. The onion culcha was delicious with rice and dipping it in the curry like soup. No complaints about the food. We loved it and when we return to the area, will frequent again.
However when I used the bathroom, it is filthy. There is gunk along the floor and wall behind the sink, the vent fan has black dust clogging it, and sprayed on the wall next to the vent on the ceiling. The hand dryer has black residue all over the wall and water drips where others have washed their hands. They had next to no toilet paper, and I have a colostomy bag that I tend to need more than a few sheets of 1 ply toilet paper. I looked in the toilet paper holder and there was about 4 pieces of 1 ply tp folded and sitting at the bottom. Then I go to wash my hands and there is no soap in the dispenser. They had a small pump bottle on a high shelf that was almost empty, I had to jam it pretty hard 4-5 times to get a good amount of soap to wash my hands. How do you expect people to wash their hands with soap that isn't easily accessible and almost empty? Thank goodness I'm tall. I used my shirt to open the door out.
I hope that this isn't a reflection of the kitchen. One good deep clean and y'all will be set. Please have toilet paper stocked, there are women who need TP, and some customers (like myself) are disabled. Also please keep soap stocked even if it's a bottle from the dollar store. A magic eraser will take care of cleaning the walls and behind the sink. The decor and color of the walls are great, the sink is pretty cool...
Read moreTrying to find a place to eat at 8pm on a Sunday, we actually stumbled on this place by accident when looking for another place. But it’s one of those serendipitous moments where you were glad you got lost. The place is clean and the people were friendly. Nothing fancy in ambiance and they serve the food in to go containers, but the food is simply amazing. I’ve eaten at many Indian restaurants and I have to say the food here was some of the best I’ve eaten. The garlic Nan bread was fresh and perfectly cooked and the Chicken Tikaa Masala was really amazing. Chicken was perfectly cooked and the sauce was creamy and delicious. My friends had a couple of vegetarian dishes, the Paneer Makhani and the Navratan Korma, and were also impressed. (Wish we took pictures before we ate it all.) Such a great find for some really great food at a...
Read more7/29/24 Had my boo grab me food from here. Our 1st time trying it. I ordered the chicken tikka kabob (naan as my side). Unbeknownst to me, the dish also came with chickpeas. I'm a retired chef....I don't eat chickpeas. However, THESE chickpeas were DELICIOUS and had me excited 😁💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾. I mean whoever made them put their FOOT in it. Seasoning & flavor was hitting! 🎯 on 👉🏾... The chicken tikka was SLAMMIN also. Tender, juicy, cooked ANDDDDDD seasoned to pure perfection. "Yum yum YUMMY on my gums AND in my tummy!" 🤣😂 The naan bread was disappointing. No flavor and so tough I couldn't bite it. 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ Next time I will get thr rice as my side. Overall 10/10. My boo got the tandoori wings. Seasoning great...very tender not like a fried or crispy wing. And a nice heat/spice kick. Thanks! WE shall be back to try ur chicken tikka...
