McDonald's — Restaurant in Ferndale

I'm the only car there. 9:30 PM on a Friday.

McDonald's guy: hello how may I help you? Me: Can I have a number 9 please. McDonald's guy: You want a Big Mac? Me: No, I want a number 9. McDonald's guy: ok: proceeds to ring in a number 1(Big Mac meal) : what kind of drink do you want? Me: :: seeing he rang in a number 1:: a Coke. McDonald's guy: anything else? Me: bacon egg and cheese McMuffin. McDonald's guy: umm we don't have that. I can do an Egg McMuffin with bacon though. Me: ok.... -I drive to the first window Window chick: you had a medium Coke? Me: yes -She gives me my drink I move to the second window. Second window chick: can you move to the space marked number 2 up ahead to the right? We will bring you food to you. Me: sure. I Proceed to the assigned spot. Park. I wait about 10 minutes while 4 other cars make it through the drive-thru without issue. A woman brings me my food and tells me to have a good night.

My food was fine and all, but I waited for no reason for regular menu items. I Got what the guy thought I ordered even after correcting him.

I open the bag, there is a number 1, and a McMuffin with egg, cheese, bacon, and Canadian bacon on it. I paid an upcharge for bacon added to a regular McMuffin because he didn't have a button for a Bacon Egg and Cheese McMuffin.

I visited this McDonald's for lunch today and unfortunately, the service I received was extremely disappointing. From the moment I arrived at the drive-thru window, the interactions with the staff were unfriendly and unprofessional. Despite my efforts to be polite and courteous by greeting them and expressing gratitude, I was met with silence and rudeness.

The lack of basic customer service skills was evident when the young lady at the payment window did not acknowledge my greetings or thank-yous. Furthermore, the server at the food pickup window went as far as slamming the window in my face after I politely greeted them and thanked them.

While the food quality at McDonald's remained consistent and satisfactory, the overall experience was heavily marred by the poor service I encountered during my visit. It is disappointing to see such a lack of respect and professionalism from the staff members, especially in a customer-facing role.

I hope that McDonald's management addresses these issues to ensure that all customers receive the respect and courtesy they deserve during their visit. Improving the quality of service provided by the staff members will undoubtedly enhance the overall dining experience for customers in...

Good experience! The line was wrapped around the building but the service was fast didn't take long at all. My food was good nice and hot especially the fries. The fries were seasoned just right and still hot when I got home (hate getting lukewarm unsalted fries) but these were just right. Got a combo and two pies. I wanted something sweet so I just got the apple but decided to ask at the cash out window if they had a different flavor which they did so they allowed me to change it to pumpkin without attitude. (I say that because some places trip and give you attitude if you change the smallest thing after you order) I also asked for an extra sauce at pickup window. It was a charge (FYI always keep change in the car. I was fortunate to have some so it was a quick transaction) they were very accomodating. Then I was on my way. No complaints.
