I'm gonna be honest, I went when it first opened and I since I'm gluten free I got the tator tots which were old and overly greasy and I gave one of their breakfast tot dishes a try but didn't finish it

And I love tator tots egg and bacon but the nacho cheese on top was disgusting

My guy on the other hand originally tried a beef taco when they first opened and he tried feeding it to the dog who I swear also refuses to eat it. He swore he would never go back but his co-workers were talking a strong game so we decided to give it one more try which is when he fell in love with the bacon guac street tacos and we were there atleast twice a week picking up his street tacos, brought them to a father gathering when the men in my family gathered to repair a porch and everyone sang it's praises and taco john redeemed itself or so we thought

Then they began running out of popular items which was a huge disappointment, they have charged us for one item and given us an item of lesser value in it's place which made the blood boil and after like 4 bad meals in a row we took a 2-3 month hiatus because his cravings for the guac street taco returned and upon asking before we ordered if they had everything (they would only tell us after we paid about the missing items not upfront allowing us to change our minds) we placed what could have been our last order there

I will say they won back his love, we no longer go weekly but it is definitely an option again when we are looking for a place to eat

They did struggle hard core in the beginning BUT they seem to be working out the bugs and improving for the better so if you haven't been lately I highly recommend the quac street tacos. I have never been able to stomach giving the tots a second try but my man says those tacos...

Very clean, modern restaurant with the CUTEST staff. Extremely fast service. For the food: I ordered two beef tacos. They hovered around the same quality as maybe those of a Taco Bell, but the flavor was wrong for a taco...even more wrong than Taco Bell's 😂 Husband got a super burrito with steak but "you had to look pretty hard to find the steak. It was pretty close to Taco Bell. Set your expectations for gas station taco places and sometimes you might be pleasantly surprised, but most likely you just won't have anything to complain about." Everything tasted very very processed and seemed like it had been either frozen or preserved with many chemicals or both. But hey, some people (Americans😂) like that. 🤷‍♀️

The only reason I'd go back is if I were driving between Utah County and Cedar City late at night and all the other restaurants were closed and I didn't think I could POSSIBLY survive the wait. Which is exactly what happened tonight. If you are in the same boat, and you really love authentic Mexican food and really dislike American food....just wait for a different food option. You'll survive the wait, and you'll probably regret eating food here.

If you love processed American food, this restaurant is meant for...

Not great customer service. Ok food when you get what you order.

They don’t make ordering easy. I ordered a #7 not in a combo (2 fiesta tacos). They put the fiesta sauce on the side like I asked but I only got 1 fiesta taco and they didn’t put tomatoes or pico on it. After coming back inside they begrudgingly gave me pico on the side. I also ordered a #2 not in a combo (2 soft tacos). Those came as ordered.

I discovered the error when I was handing out the food in the car so I went back inside and they called up the manager. When I asked about it she said that when you don’t order a #7 in a combo you only get one. This doesn’t make sense because I specifically told her #7 and it says on the menu board 2 fiesta tacos. However, when you order #2 you still get 2 soft tacos even if it isn’t in a combo.

I suggested that she let her employees know that if someone says they want a #7 they should enter two fiesta tacos in the order or at least ask if the person wants two before completing the order. She smugly smiled and partially rolled her eyes giving me the impression she didn’t care about my suggestion.

There are a lot of restaurants on the east side of the freeway, and a nice Maverick as well. I recommend...

Saw this place being built a few months ago. As a trucker I was definitely interested in trying out this Mexican restaurant. Sadly, another fake Mexican fast food chain. The only thing good were the Mango Shrimp Tacos. The potatoes were way too salty, and I ended up throwing most of them away. The Super Burrito tasted like cheap meat, not as bad as the salty potatoes but still not as good as a Carne Asada burrito. The last thing that is disturbing is that this company is suing another authentic Mexican restaurant because of their use of "Taco" in their name.

I spoke with the cashier at the front. They said they dont have lettuce and offered diced tomatoes instead. But after i got my order, I saw there were no tomatoes at all. I brought the bowl back to the cashier and explained, but she said there already added extra tomatoes because of lettuce. I attached the picture below Explain to me where are the promised tomatoes? TACO JOHN'S, if you can not provide the veggies on time, drop the prices and do reimbursemen. For example, if customers order extra, you charge them extra.

It's a Taco John's in Fillmore Utah. It's on the north side of I-15 exit 193 at a new Love's Truck stop. Taco John's has its own drive through window and entrance. The food is just as good as I remember. I saw a breakfast menu also. The Love's Truck stop is new, big and clean. Cost of fuel was much cheaper than SL or Davis County. 11.25.22. 6.6.23 USB ports at Taco John's. Cheapest fuel and food between SLC and Las Vegas. Dec. 8, 2024. Food is still excellent and gas is still cheap.
