The food was solid as usual and this review has nothing to do with that. I stopped in for an early dinner around 4:30 on a Monday. I was the only one in the dining room during my entire meal.
When I walked in, there was no one at the front to greet me. I waited. When someone did come it was clear that it was more important to be training someone and giving them instructions than it was to even acknowledge that I was standing there. After finally speaking to me, I was told they’d be with me in a minute and the employee training session continued while I waited.
Honestly the most disappointing part of the visit was that the dining room was filthy. I walked around and looked at at least seven tables that hadn’t even been wiped down. In fact, ti had to wipe down the table I did select to sit at. The seats and benches were filthy, along with food on the floor. It’s clear that nothing in this restaurant has been deep cleaned in a while because there was a thick layer of dust on the windowsills as well. Makes me question what else wasn’t clean. Yuck. Read moreThe worst service! Every. Single. Time. They get my order wrong and no apology or compensation. I always have to turn around and go back through the drive thru.. I think I’m finally giving up going. It’s just so unfortunate because it’s the closest food to my house. Just went by there and they got the order wrong again. We talked with a manager. Still no apology or compensation and we had to wait for an entire order to be remade.
Edited to add: if the owner means they reviewed security footage and the manager didn’t charge us to remake our order that was originally made incorrect then yes… we were not given the meal that was made incorrectly for free and the meal that had to be remade was already paid for. So like I said, no apology and no compensation for our time wasted with our crying baby in the backseat. A simple “I’m so sorry let me get that fixed for you” goes along way. I don’t need a meal for free but please don’t act like you messing up my order is my fault. That’s all...
Read moreI went to the Slim Chickens and have never had the problems I had today. Through the drive-thru I Ordered 6 items including the Mac and cheese bowl and 2 Strawberry shortcake Jars! The person at the window confirmed my order. When I got my order I received 2 Mac and cheeses and no Mac and cheese bowl! I didn’t check on the dessert jars! . Went into the restaurant to get the Mac and Cheese bowl corrected. Then got home and found that the 2 strawberry shortcake jars were not in the bag. I called once and was told to call back at 2 because they were busy. Called again at 2 asked to speak to the manager and was told again that they were busy! Was asked this time for my name and number and manager will return my call. Hoping I do get a call. I just want both strawberry desserts to be refunded. I live 30 minutes away from the restaurant. As a customer my expectation is to receive what I ordered. Not to make not 1 but 2 errors!...
