I cannot tell you how many times since growing up and visiting Marion Oaks I’ve wished there was a local coffee shop so I didn’t have to drive across town for a change of scenery. I work remotely and places like this are an absolute lifesaver. I was hoping it would meet my expectations and they totally did. This is a clean, quiet space, perfect for getting some work done or meeting up with a friend for coffee and a treat. The service is solid, but the true star is the coffee. I got a hazelnut latte and the coffee was so smooth and wonderful. This place is a dream come true for me. Thanks to the owners!

The best coffee in Marion County and maybe even some of the best coffee we have ever had. Not to mention the pastries are phenomenal; my cheese danish was buttery, flaky and delicious. Alkimia is owned and operated by the owners and you can tell they prioritize quality just as much as the customer experience. I got a horchata latte I believe and my husband got the cortado. I can’t explain the depth and quality of the coffee and how well it was made. This place isn’t a Starbucks or a splash of coffee mixed in with a gallon of sugar, Alkimia is a coffee snobs paradise for artesanal crafted coffee enthusiasts. I’m visiting the US for a few weeks and badly miss a real coffee. Especially a cappuccino with the right taste, right consistency and right temperature to start the day. Espresso is also amazing, served in preheated cup! And in porcelain cups, not in paper cups. The material of the cup makes a noticeable difference in taste. This place has got it all. They have coffee beans blend from Brazil and Colombia that tastes great!
