I really like this place for Colombian food. It’s fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced. So many restaurants in Miami are overrated and not good quality, but that is not the case here. We used to come here regularly when we lived in Miami. We’ve moved to a different town now, but still try to stop here when we are in town.

The food is very good, portions are big and food is tasty but service is bad. I live in the neighborhood which makes it very convenient to order take-out. However, they do charge for everything as an additional fee and are very stingy. They only give you one tiny container of hot sauce per 2 empanadas. If you want more you'll need to pay for it. DO NOT order their juices to go either. When eating in, they serve their juices in a tall glass but when doing take out, they give you a much smaller styrofoam cup. The rest stays in their blender. First time I ordered their lemonade, they offered an additional smaller Styrofoam cup to give me the remaining juice that didn't fit in the to go cup. Second time they gave me a hard time and said that they had made more than the portion and that's why they had lemonade in their blender. They also only have one single restroom for men and women. We had just come back from a long road trip and were picking up the food before heading home. My son needed to use the bathroom but someone was in there cleaning it. They didn't try to accommodate us, they said it was being cleaned and they wouldn't ask the cleaning lady to come out so we could use it. Overall customer...

The service is o.k....The food a different story..I went there for Labor day with the fam we ordered mini bandeja paisa with stake and the stake in both plates. The stake was rotten it had a rotten smell to it.. and the meat was very tender to the point were it was almost disintegrated due to the fact that this meat was either left outside the whole day or its been refrozen a few times. We told the waitress and she went into the kitchen and spoke to the cook and the answer from the kitchen was that the rotten smell was due to the seasoning....well guess who's not going back to that place and also im gonna spread the word out to friends and family.

The friendliness of the staff and family atmosphere greets you as soon as you enter. Everyone had smiles on their faces. Besides Wifey and me, there were two older ladies at another small table wrapping up their meal.

We ordered:

Bandeja paisa (white rice, sweet plantains, red beans, fried egg, fried pork, Colombian sausage, with carne asada (perfectly marinated & cooked flank steak),

sancocho de Costilla (beef rib soup),

Flan for dessert (and I'm not even a fan of flan).

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G-L-Y DELICIOUS!

The steak was moist, and the marinade on it was knock-your-socks-off-good (and I don't eat beef often; this might have been one of the best steaks I've ever eaten).

A great value for the money and gave us an opportunity to support a local neighborhood business (the true economic engine of the U.S., small and medium sized...
